Pantalon Gamma SL Femme

Hiking. Breathable, zippered thigh pocket and 2 hip pockets. Please add the 2nd zippered thigh pocket that you used to have. I need it! Otherwise, these are excellent hiking pants.

I purchased these pants in 00 short and they fit perfectly. Perfect length and no gap in the back. I use these pants for cycling, hiking, travel and around town. Recently, I took them on a 2 month bikepacking adventure in South America. Travelling light, I took only one pair of pants. I was so impressed with them, that I now have 4 pairs!

Si vous êtes de petite taille, ils sont parfaits. J’ai des pantalons Arc’teryx depuis très longtemps et pour ma part ce sont mes favoris, ils me « fit » à merveille avec la jambe ajustée. Le bas, sans être élastique, est très ajusté ce qui est parfait en randonnée. En lisant les commentaires, je me suis rendue compte qu’ils sont vraiment adaptés pour les petites jambes et mollets. Si c'est votre cas, vous allez les adorer. Je porte taille 2.

I was afraid to buy these after reading the last couple of reviews...I owned a pair from 2019 and really liked that style. These arrived today and fit great! The leg is more tapered but not confining or restricting...more like streamlined to make them look a more modern. I am 5'9" got the regular length, and yeah wouldn't say no to an extra inch for total complete happiness, but still not bad! Will probably get the Tall version in a different color.

I don't usually write reviews but these pants have really disappointed me. I had the previous Gamma LT and when I tell you they were the *best all-rounder pant I've ever had*, I don't mean that lightly. The old gammas fit amazing (super flattering) and were super versatile: climbing 10/10, hiking 10/10, daily wear 10/10. They were just absolutely fantastic. Quite tragically, they got stolen a few months ago (long story), so I decided to buy a new pair. These do not even come close. The material is different, feeling really quite restricting at times around the upper thigh particularly with flexible moves when climbing (I'm an athletic build, so my waist and upper thigh/hip can be tricky to size with pants). I got exactly same size, yet these hover above the ankle in a weird way, and the overall fit is really quite unflattering, bunching around the hip area. I usually love how arcteryx fits and their choice of materials, but this one fell really short of their usual standard, in my opinion. This review is just to say bring back the old gammas!!!! They were so amazing, and it makes me so sad that they've been discontinued. If anyone is getting these hoping for something similar to their previous version, please do not bother :(
