Delamination, no customer service

Delamination with less than 2 ski seasons of use. Sent back for repair, customer service said despite it failing they could do nothing for me.

poorly manufactured, no customer service

I bought the 2022 version of this jacket. Initial performance and fit was great. I used it exclusively for skiing and washed it regularly according to typical goretex instructions. However, at the beginning of this season, the gore laminate separated in many areas of the jacket causing it to leak. I brought it back to Arc’teryx customer service, and they responded fairly quickly with there’s nothing we can do about it, exceeds the expected length of garment. So 850$ gets you 2 ski seasons from a jacket at Arc’teryx now? No thanks, you can do better elsewhere .

Customer service sent my jacket back. Basically said that there was nothing they could do and that it was outside the expected lifespan of the product. So they are basically saying that you can expect an arctery goretex jacket to last roughly 40 ski days before it falls apart. I think this is unethical from an environmental perspective as well as unacceptable from a product performance/ cost perspective.

Great For Snowboarding! Roomy & Durable.

Great shell for snowboarding! Have worn it while riding on both Cypress & Grouse this season. The fit is nice & roomy, all the pockets feel intentional & useful. However, I don't love the Stormhood that most of Arc'teryx shells use. Especially when layering up on a colder day, the neck can get pretty tight and I have to unzip the Rush a bit to allow more freedom of movement. I'm also a beginner and falling a lot, the Rush feels really durable and don't have to worry about ripping or damaging the shell.

Jacket Sizing is Off. Poor Warranty.

Lots of Fit Issues! But great jacket otherwise. I have owned 2 Arcteryx Rush Jackets: one Medium and one Large. Both are very bad for sizing! Not regular Arcteryx sizing. I am 6-3, 198lb, 33w, athletic build. My sizing issues are the following: Large - it's a flowing smock, a dress. Way too big! I feel like it's a Gore-tex blanket! If I use , the lower cinch, I have room for a baby around my stomach. So weird. Medium - great in shoulders and upper body. It's more like a trim athletic fit of Arcteryx jackets of yesteryear. However, the waist is quite tight - and will ride up and down if you bend down. ***Please note: My powder skirt partially delaminated over time (7 Years). Arcteryx refused to repair it and offered only a $200 credit. The warranty is very poor for a $500-700 jacket! Previously, Arcteryx repaired Beta AR lower delaminated cinch.

No powder skirt - so silly!

The Rush used to be the best jacket in the world. But they removed the powder skirt on this new one and jacked up the sizing. If the Pro model jackets (which they won't let normals buy) deserve a powder skirt, so do your consumer products. It's really disappointing to see a brand disregard the people who fund their company this way. Gross really.
