Great summer running hat

If you love the Norvan kit for summer / warm weather running, the cap is the perfect addition. Super lightweight and you barely feel that you're wearing it. The colours go so well with the rest of the Norvan kit. The brim seems a bit delicate so you have to be careful when packing / storing it, but that's also what makes this cap so lightweight.

Versatile and super light headwear

This is my second Norvan Cap, got the black this time - it's a great lightweight, breathable, and packable hat for multiple activities. It's so light that you barely notice it on a run or hike, breathes exceptionally well during high output, and is unstructured so you can pack it away into a pocket or bag easily. The brim is shorter than a normal brim and can get a little wavy/creased if you pack it crumpled up. I have a 57cm head and got the SM size in this hat which fits really well but definitely on the bigger side, though the cap's light weight makes it feel like it sits less securely on my head compared to heavier hats with more substantial closures or tighteners. The 3M reflective bits are a nice touch for visibility in poor/low light. Wish the word logo was swapped for a bird logo though, and centered in the front panel rather than to the side.

Light, comfortable and surprisingly dry

I went for a run on stormy weather and the hat was super helpful in keeping my face dry. I normally dislike running in the rain because I can't see.
It's light, easy to pack if I don't need it and fits well/is comfortable.
I got it in the bright orange colour which I also like for winter running - makes me more visible in the dark.

Light weight cap

Super light material. Viser can get a bit crooked if stored bent. Was a bit fiddly to tighten it as much as I needed (I have a very small head).

Lightest as a feather

I normally don’t wear a cap while running, but this is an exception. I am wearing the Norvan Cap, but it seems like I'm not wearing one at all because it's super lightweight and breathable. It matches my black Squamish Jacket.

A disappointing run cap

I really liked the previous longer brimmed Norvan Cap, but these short brim versions are just not it. You can see how wavy the brim becomes from minimal use from the product images being used in marketing (literally on the current home page image), for $70 these are very disappointing. They're basically disposable. As a leader in outdoor gear, wear is the investment and choice within your running lines? Such limited options compared to other brands.
