Chaqueta Ski Guide Mujer

This jacket is now a staple in my backcountry hikes, not only does keep me warm, dry and protected from the elements. It's stylish and easy to wear without getting in the way during active movement. Doesn't hurt that the colour is prefect for photos!

Have had this jacket for a bit, in "Hi Vis" Yellow. So versatile, in that it can be layered up for the worst, or un-layered for more moderate conditions. Comfortable, and the height of performance.

Loving my ski guide jacket! Was looking for a shell that could double as a ski jacket for downhill and backcountry, as well as a hiking raincoat and for biking around Vancouver. Tried on lots of other Arc'teryx alternatives, including the Alpha SV, but this jacket won out because of its great pocket configuration, super durable goretex-pro fabric that practically bounces water away, the structured collar that looks great and is super practical, and the super bright fun colour. Friends have commented on how easy I am to spot in the backcountry, which is exactly what I wanted. I chose XL so that it has space around the shoulders, and can easily fit 2+ thick layers underneath. Doesn't look too bulky although there is definitely room to spare around my waist. The sizing is the same as the Alpha SV, and is the best cut that arc'teryx make for women with broad shoulders (although its not perfect, I would love to wear a L which fits everywhere else except the shoulders! But this is a recurring problem with the women's Arc'teryx cut) Possible con could be a lack of powder skirt, but without it, the jacket makes for a much better year-round shell. It also has tabs at the bottom to synch everything in if skiing in powder. Will be interested to see how this holds up over time, but I'm loving it for now after 2 months!
