I have had a few variations of these pants and honestly the quality deteriorates with each new year. My older pairs are far more thick and durable and better constructed. They’re much thinner now. Barely can get a year out of them without an issue.

Love the fact that these pants are so versatile. They are equally at home on the trail with the technical fabric and comfortable fit as they are on a night out in town. Would have liked if they could have sported a small Arc'teryx logo on one of the back pockets to distinguish them from cheaper alternatives though?

Comfortable with a flaw

I bought the pants a year ago from the outlet. The face fabric has a fine cotton feel, much smoother than any jeans, more comfortable than Lululemon’s Utilitech. And no need to iron. There is a big problem with the pants which is the mesh fabric used for both pockets. When I first saw it, I thought it was a great idea. But very soon I realized that It allows a lot of dust into the pockets, pollutes your phone, car key or anything you carry. Not sure what exactly is the dust but I suspect it is mainly dead skins. I am in my thirties, heathy and active, has no any skin condition. The second point isn’t a problem but more of a suggestion which is that Arcteryx should have different lengths for the pants. I am 186cm. I would prefer a longer inseam.

My favourite pant.

I love these pants. I ordered one pair initially to try them out and liked them so much I bought a second pair! They fit great, I'd say true to size. The stretch is a real winner for me, I struggle to find pants sometimes due to my thighs and these have adequate room and the stretch gives that necessary buffer when getting mobile. I love the casual look of them and they have the ability to dress up a little as well. They're my go to pants for daily life.

Bought them as daily wear as I hate jeans and need something decently looking for work. They're well fitting (although people with some larger quads/harms - you'd fell them hug your thighs). Fit right without a need for belt (while usually for comfortable pants for me same size requires a belt and smaller sizes feel too tight elsewhere). Will buy another pair when in stock for sure.

Bought my first pair 2 weeks ago, and im buying another pair now.
The are comfy, fit great, feel like regular pants but are stretchy and does not (so far) hold stains from riding a bike trough Norwegian fall weather, its like i can just brush small spots of mud off.

Very comfortable. Good stretch. True to quoted sizes. I have got these trousers wet in a flash shower & they dried very quickly. Like the 5 pocket versatility. A nice casual trousers slightly less technical than my Gamma pants so great to have this option. Great trousers!

Great fit, nice for daily wear. could (should) be improved by making it possible to close the right rear pocket. I kep my wallet there and travel a lot in densely populated trains. Just to keep possible pickpockets at a distance I would like my next to have something like a button / zipper / Velcro.

Great fit, defective dye

As others have mentioned the color of my graphite pants have turned into splotchy purple after little wear. Otherwise great pant. This is clearly a manufacturing problem and arteryx isn't standing behind a defective product with their weak 30 day return policy. If you're charging a premium price then you should have a premium warranty on it as other brands that actually stand behind their products.

Great pants and fit is good with the stretchy material. But as others have mentioned the zipper is Too Short in length making them inconvenient when nature calls. Please consider the real men that are still out there and add more zipper length to your products!

They are a casual look and fit but can be dressed up for the office, which is the main use for me. They are comfortable for air travel and the creases fall out easily on a hanger so great for business travel. The fit is very slim / athletic. I'm 5'10", 160lbs and the 30" regular length fit perfect. In other styles from Arcteryx I'm a 32 (Gamma Pants, Gamma Shorts) and a 30" in the Cronin Shorts. They do stretch and give a little after you wear them for a few hours of wear so I'm happy that I sized down. They wash and (hang) dry very easily, ready to go again. I bought a 2nd pair in the smoke bluff color. I would like Acrteryx to add in a size 31" as there's a gap between 30 and 32.

Inconsistent sizing and fabric

I previously purchased the Levon Pant, (ultra light) size 36". They fit perfectly! The material was light, comfortable, and a pleasure to wear. However, this purchase, (Levon Pant) the material was super heavy and the fit was completely different. I couldn't even button them up. I can understand a slight difference in fit, but these pants were way too tight. I also have a few pair of the Gamma Pants, size 36" which fit perfectly, so it seems this particular run of Levon Pants were made with different sized patterns or in a different factory with different standards.

Great Pant - Poor Durability. Cannot Recommend.

Purchased about 6 of these pants and had to return 4 of them so far. First off, fantastic fit (not too lose and not too tight), materials and versatility. I can wear this out casually, the darker ones in an office environment, and hiking. Great protection and ok water resistance. Here comes the bad.
The black, mid-Grey, Sapphire (Navy) and Dark Grey (Graphite) colors have all started to turn purple after only a few months of usage. This is absolutely poor, for a $140 pant that is meant to be used for the outdoors. Note that this issue has been prevalent across BOTH generations of Levon pant updates (mesh and non-mesh pocket liner versions). So it seems that Arcteryx has either chosen not to fix the problem or, they haven't had enough complaints. Thankfully, their team has taken back the pants and issued credits for the manufacturer defect.
Arcteryx, instead of responding with a generic reply, why don't you take this feedback and respond with something material - like that It will get fixed in the next release of the pant?

Low quality construction and materials

Sizing was right on and the fit is great, material feels great to wear in hot or cold conditions.
The black sapphire colour is fading to purple on my pair as another reviewer had mentioned which is a MAJOR disappointment. Threads have come loose on the pockets. I've never seen a pair of pants degrade so quickly with casual use. I've only worn around the city and to the office. Less than 6 months is not acceptable given the price point.
I've had some arcteryx products for over 15 years and are still going strong. Black sapphire should be avoided unless purple pants are what you're looking for.

True versatile pant for work and general use

I saw these pants a few weeks back at a store and was happily surprised that they are more versatile than your typical outdoor tech pant which is why I picked up a pair. Missing the horrible leg bulky pockets and tech fabric allows you to wear to work as a nice casual alternative. The comfort and fit as usual with Arc’teryx is spot on. The waist and pant length are perfect for me with a little stretch in the fabric.

So so quality after only a year

Do yourself a favour and consider something else - quality isn’t what it used to be. Pants fit nicely and are good quality initially - but after only a year many of the seams are failing (two pair of pants and same problem area - rear right pocket and main seam in the back).
Filed a warranty claim and it’s covered … but …. You need to send the pants in, they can’t guarantee they have the right colour, they’ll determine if they’re repairable and will proceed with repairs and send it back to you (what happens if they decide they can’t repair?), and of course you’re on the hook for shipping.
Disappointing warranty - after only a year. Premium pricing implies premium service - which isn’t the case here.
Full disclosure, my two pairs of pants came from a Bangladesh factory - maybe Arc’teryx swapped providers in the interim. But I’m not impressed - especially when you pay 1.5x the price of other options that have more longevity.
I won’t bother sending them back under warranty - I’ll repair them myself and obviously won’t be buying anymore …
No, I do not recommend this product.

I just bought these pants too. I agree with you about the quality. They are mass produced and the quality is not befitting a label as prestigous as Arcteryx. I don't know what happened to the company over the years. New CEO? Demand by shareholders to maximize profits?
