Great fit

I’m 5’3” 123lbs athletic with smaller waist and muscular thighs and glutes. I purchased size 4 short I normally wear size 2 in other brands. The waist has a built in belt that allows you to customize fit. I have worn them for rock climbing and hiking, the pants have great mobility and stretch without getting baggy and stretched out like other brands I own. I will purchase more of these and try the thicker pair as well.

Great hiking/travelling pant

I bought this pant for a trip to Patagonia in March and I was so glad I did. It is very comfortable, lightweight, breathable and just stretchy enough. I wore it a ton and got many compliments on them. It was perfect for the region's wild, ever-changing weather. I'm 5'6 and 125lbs and the size 4 fits great.

The fabric and over all cut is quite nice, but I didn't care for the articulated knees – it made the pants appear to have "baggy" knees. For active wear, that's okay, but I wanted these for everyday use, so I sent them back because the knee tent looked odd. Size 8 was on the snug size (I am 137 lbs 30 inch waist).

I want to love these pants. They are durable and perfect for hiking and dog walks in our trails, but the size 6 I purchased bags out in the bum area, so I ordered a size 4 online from Arc'teryx thinking that would solve the problem, but they felt a bit small in the waist, even with the adjustable belt so I am returning them. I am now stuck with the original pair, which I purchased at a local Arc'teryx dealer. I have the regular weight Gamma pants in a size 6 and they also become loose after wearing, but they don't bag out as much as these ones do.

Functional and comfortable hiking pant

I am quite happy with this pant. It is versatile, super light and breathable for warmer hiking days, and can be layered for cooler days. I like the zippered pockets on both side. It fits a little big - I'm usually a 6 or 4 or somewhere in between and definitely had to go with the 4 here. It also loosens a bit as you wear, but overall holds its shape well.

Got these as a "thanks for being my weekend climbing guide" gift. I ordered the 8 long. I am 5'11 with a 28 in waist and a 30 inch inseam in jeans. The pants come up to my mid shin and barely close. Size guide says a size 8 fits a 30 in waist and a 34 inseam.
Arcteryx used to be one of the only brands I could buy as they used an actual tall and athletic model, but I see that has changed. If you're over 5'3 and have ever lifted a weight I suggest you skip this one.

Comfortable and light weight

So far so good when wearing in cool weather. Very rain resistant. These pants are significantly lighter in weight than my older version, which is great for lightweight multiday trekking. They do have a narrower ankle than the previous version, which I think is unfortunate, because this makes them impossible to roll up in warmer weather. Nice fit, and the tall inseam is VERY MUCH appreciated. Not many options out there for long legged women. I wish Arcteryx would make more Women's Tall products.

I bought this as a light pant in iffy weather. Dries really fast. Offers some wind protection and is very comfortable. Side leg pocket is big enough for my phone, other side leg pockets tend to be too short. Zippered side pockets are handy too.

I read a lot of reviews and finally I ordered this one. I'm 5'3 105Lb and 25inch. Short was sold out I got regular 2. I look through size chart and model was wearing 6. It was big mistake. Length was not bad but way too big... Even I could wear thick winter pants inside and more for fitting. It's super thin and light.

I love these for working in the mountains in the warmer months for their thinness and light weight. They have a lot of great stretch for hiking or climbing if you prefer. The thigh pocket easily holds my phone and the hand pockets are spacious as well. The legs are a bit tapered down towards the calf and ankle, which is a bit weird compared to the looser fit through the thighs and tendency to bag out a bit after consistent wear. Overall a great option for warmer climates or the warmer months in the Rockies.

I was planning to go on a hike in Washington state in mid Oct, and I want to buy a pant that is light weight, has some water repellent/resistant feature, and good for walking on trails. I asked on internet and a lots of people recommended Gamma series pant to me, so I went to the store and tried it on. Love these. They feel really similar to the sabria pant without the weird sizing. Purchased my usually 6 and thankfully scored one of the talls. Please make more tall sizes! This is a perfect fit and hope in the future more tall options are available.

Works for me but will need to manage expectations

I have two pairs in size 6R and I've loved them so far. I mainly use these for day hikes in warm weather and so far they are holding up well. The pockets are useful and large enough for my iPhone X, the material holds up when brushed against brushes along the trail, and the fit is better in my opinion compared to its predecessors (e.g. Palisade, Sylvite). My concern is these are not as breathable as some other hiking pants. I wore those to trails in Maui and California - the former was humid, while the latter was dry heat, and sweat was literally rolling down my legs as I took breaks. I even got heat rash while in Maui but that could be blamed on the extra humid weather. Anyways, I love the fit, I just wish that one they can be more breathable, and two per other comments, come in with other lengths.

Lightweight, good for fast and light summer climbs

I needed a pant for summer mountaineering, and these worked well in warm temps. I added paracord to the bottom loops to act as a gator and that worked well, but I prefer the built in cinch that comes with the other alpine pants. The short length was perfect for me (5'4), and the pockets and fit are nice. Fabric is a little thin when the wind gets cold, so these may not come on the glacier with me anymore, but they were out of stock of my size in the short of the other Gammas so these will have to work for now.

the material is great. The only problem that I have to return it is the belt can disappear into the loops and I have to spent 10 minutes to fish it out! This is a serious design issue.

Brilliant - light, great fit, great features

These new pants are brilliant. They have the lightness of the Sabria pants and the same slim (but not clingy) fit, but with the added benefits of a fly zip, integrated belt, and zip pocket. If you liked Sabria, this is an excellent upgrade. Also, I love the Jupiter colour - gorgeous, rich and so pretty - finally a vibrant berry colour after several years of muddy trouser colours.

What is this a pant for ants!

Arcteryx no longer carries sizes for women of different heights. As much as I want to smack every stick, leaf, and blade of razor grass with my shins, I'd really prefer to have them covered. Women don't come in one length, and neither should your pants. Please bring back tall sizes.

great for small women too

I am 5" tall, 110lbs. I ordered 2R--it fits like a glove and feels extremely comfortable. Usually pants are so long, somehow this fits great. I went to the store in downtown Seattle to try it out. Seriously, the most comfortable pants I've owned besides Kuhl roll up pants. Perfect for the office and also the gym afterwards.

Please bring back longer pants for lean women!!!

I own a pair of Sylvite hiking pants, which I love!! They are a size 6 tall and tall is 35" and they are barely long enough. Why do designers think tall women are fat?
I also have a pair of Beta AR ski shells, which is how I found Arc'teryx since they were the only ski pants tall enough for my waist size. Please bring back at least 35" inseam for women who have a size 6 or 8 waist. I would buy a lot more Arc'teryx pants. Right now none fit anymore.

Love these. But…

Guys, these are the greatest hiking pants I’ve ever ordered. Such great material, high waisted, stretchy, and fits so well everywhere… except for the massive camel toe they give me. The sewing around the crotch area for some reason hugs me in the best and worst ways, leaving nothing to the imagination. So be warned, just make sure you try before you buy lol.
