Great for Moving Fast!

I have now used this pack for over 500km of fastpacking. While it's not the lightest pack in the game, the features have me reaching for it consistently. The chest harness is super comfortable and the storage up front make it easy to reach for snacks, navigation and hydration without stopping. I have been able to use the cinches and cordage on the pack to shrink it down to approx 25L which has been great for fast one nighters and make it even more comfortable to run with on. Fully loaded the pack feels great as I have had it fully loaded for some week long missions. The back panel breathes well but be careful if resting it on moss and/or pine needles as they have a tendency to get caught in the back panel and don't come out... at least not easily. All in all a great pack.

Super comfortable, high volume trail running pack

I'm very excited to see the updates made to this pack and to try it out for fast and light mountaineering and technical trail running. I was looking something that could fit a rope, rack, personal gear, etc for a long day out in the mountain. With 5L of water plus personal gear (~14 lbs), I was able to cinch the bag down and comfortably run. The combination of shoulder straps, waist belt and chest straps have plenty of room for adjustment and felt extremely secure. The pack is extremely lightweight, so I'm hopeful that it will also prove to be durable over time.
While I think this pack would be perfect for 1-3 day fastpacking trips, there are a few features that I would love to see added to make it a better all-rounder for mountaineering objectives where a running-style frame is needed. There are loops that could hold ice tools, but it lacks a tie down point to keep the tools points. It's also not super intuitive how to securely stow poles on the outside of the pack.

Very comfortable, genius compression system. I like that its so adjustable and that you can remove the hip belt.
Used on Icelandic day trips, even with allot of rain mostly stayed dry on the inside.

Good Features for Ultralight

Though this pack would be awesome for ultralight fast packing, I have used it several times now as a climbing pack. The fit of the pack is undeniably awesome and can work for anyone. You can adjust the strap length on the inside of the pack and the position of the hip belt so it is highly customizable for just about anyone. I love love love the hydration vest and its such a game changer to not have to stop for a drink of water. There are also plenty of accessible pockets on the vest and belt for phone/snacks/etc. I wanted to test out the weight capacity and had one day carrying a personal climbing gear, rope, and a single rack (about 40? lbs total) and the pack was definitely struggling with that. Taking out the rack made a big difference so I would say the top end of weight bearing is about 30lbs. My only concerns are with the durability and comfort over longer periods. The fabric is certainly light but feels like it could tear with not very much abrasion. There is also very minimal padding in the shoulder straps and hip belt which could lead to discomfort if you are consistently carrying 30+ lbs.

Comfort and Balance and Awesome

I had the older 30L, but needed more volume for a trip to the Dolomites. The 35 was the perfect size for hut-to-hutting the Alta Via 1 - especially with the rolltop's capacity bump. Best thing, though, was the fit and balance. The ride's great - I have a longer regular torso and I was able to dial in a great fit. Comfortable on the hips and nesting perfectly on my back. Love the run vest harness. It's super comfortable - more comfortable than the 30 - and the pockets are great for your smartphone (camera) and stashing sunglasses. Wish it had? A way to clip the roll top on the sides, some side compression near the top, and a clip for my reservoir. But those are nit picks. This is going to be my pack for backpacking trips, future hut-to-huts, and even day hikes - it just cruises down the trails.

My new favorite 1-to-3 day adventure pack!

This pack combines the snug comfort of a running vest AND the ideal volume for a day pack. It has all the features to allow me to carry my hiking gear for a day hike up to a summer week-end backpacking trip in "ultralight" mode. So light and simple... I've been testing it in the rain for a full day and my stuff stayed dry inside. Front mesh pockets are ideal to carry all my snacks or 500ml soft water bottles. Roomy side pockets with an elastic that can be sinched to secure water bottles. I wish the upper zipped back pocket was bigger and as deep at the back pannel of the pack. The roll-top is great but the clip of the top strap is a little difficult to unclip.

LIke the bag, but it makes crunching noise at every step. Tighten the strings the best possible way and this annoying noise will not go away. carrying 20lb. Communicated with customer support and there is no solution.

Multi Use Comfy Carry Pack

Received this pack (in black) about a month ago. Have used day hike and 2 night backpacking treks. Overall good aesthetics of the packed well built. The chest harness really stands out on carries (20 lbs) offering comfort and really good balance and load management. Chest harness and hip belt pocket really convenient for carry quick access items. Found water bottle management a bit tricky. Need to be careful of water bottles falling out if lean of bender too far. Overall a nice blend between traditional Fram pack and UL style packs.

I currently have the older version of this bag, the Aerios 45. Myself & a lot of others suffer from a constant squeaking noise from the shoulder area & no amount of tweaking of the bag seems to eliminate this issue. Have they solved the problem with this latest iteration.

Almost the best 35l backpack ever.
Two things that still need to be improved or added.
1. There is no hook for the hydration bladder.
2. It would be nice if there were straps with a matching fastener in each of the side pockets so that the roll top could be fastened to the sides and not just at the top.

Perfect size, style and features.

Sick little pack, I used it for a quick split board tour. Carries the weight well and has thoughtful pockets and love the drawstrings on the side pockets. Favorite part has to be the chest harness. It keeps the pack snug and it’s a better way to carry weight than on the shoulders. Plus the chest pockets are big enough for a phone. Only complaint st the weird system for the back cords, they’re hard to tighten. All in all exactly what I was looking for and in a great color. Excited to use it more in the Spring/Summer.

If you’re any taller I’d go with the tall version. It sits on the top of my hips and I have to loosen the straps to get it to sit right. Would’ve gone with the tall but it was sold out at the time.
