This is THE snowboard pant!

I have both the Sabre and Sabre Relaxed pant. I generally lean toward the relaxed version because it gives me the baggy snowboard fit I'm used to wearing. My only wish is that it had a traditional back pocket. Outside of that, I love the fit and it keeps me dry and warm. My current daily driver.

Relax fit NOT GOOD - smaller than the regular Larg

This is my sixth pair of Sabre pants. The large in the relax fit is at least an inch smaller waist than the regular fir. I bought pair of each, the regular fit ir perfect as were the previous 5 pairs. The relax fit is at best a 34 inch waist and overall a huge let down.

Tight fit in the crotch

The fit on these is just terrible. Super baggy in the legs (Excellent great style and fit) but the crotch is tiny! I don't know how anyone could make these fit good! They need to do a better job of creating space in the crotch, it's ridicious all of their pants are like this! I would go with a different brand for bottoms personally.

These Pants are Made for Shredding

I'll keep this brief: these pants offer an incredible fit. I've worn them in powder, on groomed runs, and in the park, and they’ve performed flawlessly across all terrains. Whether I’m wearing them with or without padded shorts, they still fit well and look great.

Excellent except for excess material at the seat

Excellent quality as you’d expect. I was excited to see a relaxed ski pant, after years of geeky tighter-fitting pants. I’m 178cm tall, 71kg: normally I fit a 31-32 inch waist: the small size was far too tight at the waist; the medium regular size was good, with a bit of spare room at the waist - fine for a relaxed fit. However, there was a ridiculous amount of excess material at the seat of the pant, just below the waist band, which stuck out like a duck’s behind and looked ridiculous! Even allowing for full range of movement when crouching (e.g. when skiing moguls), I don’t know any medium sized guys whose butts stick out that far! For this reason alone, I had to return the pants. The only other thing I’d change is to have two front hand pockets instead of just one (could do without the rear pocket, I never use the rear pocket on ski pants). And I’d remove the poppers at the rear, these are annoying if you don’t own an Arcteryx jacket.

Worth it

These pants are top notch. I have worn them in a blizzard and on a sunny day (no thermals on the warm sunny day). They hold up well in every scenario and the baggy fit makes it feel like the pants aren't even there. They have enough vents to stay cool after a big powder run. There is also a built-in belt that comes in clutch for adjusting the fit to be spot on. It's the most comfortable I have been in years. The price tag is steep, but I'll never need to buy another pair of pants again (I hope).

Poor quality

I bought this pants and wore them snowboarding on the third day, only to find that the back started tearing and small holes appeared. For the price, I expected much better durability. Very disappointing and not recommended.
