Disappointing durability quality

I am incredibly disappointed and surprised that it only took one resort ski day at Mt. Seymour this season to already get a tear in these pants. At the bottom of one of the legs, there is a decent hole in the outer shell. I really like the pockets, design and fit of this item, but at the end of the day, paying this much money for a product that falls apart within the first day of use and does not appear to be built with long-term durability in mind is pretty disappointing.

Amazing bibs for short girls

So obsessed with these. I am a petite 5'1" and it is impossible to find bibs that fit well and aren't too long. These are perfect. I have the older model and agree with the sizing. I am usually a 00 / 0 in their pants, but I got the 2 and it is perfect.

Great bibs for all around use (touring & resort)

These bibs are super comfortable and have a good variety of pockets which I am always a huge fan of! Chest pocket that works great for a transceiver, which is a safe distance away from the leg pocket to put your phone. They also nailed the zipper for easy bathroom pit stops. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great all around bib. If youre between sizes, I would recommend going down a size as they fit ever so slightly on the big side.

Great fit and features!

Exactly what I was looking for in a bib. I'm 5'3, 120 lbs with an athletic fit. Plenty of pockets for wallet, phone, ski pass, etc. It fits properly in the chest, torso, and legs. The side zipper makes it easy to use the restroom without having to take all layers off. This bib completely blocks the wind and is waterproof. Fully recommend!

Dry in Wet west coast conditions

I love these pants. They have kept my butt dry for 3 seasons of snowboarding even in the Wet West Coast winter conditions. They're also very durable and breathable.

nice bibs

i previously ordered the 6 short which was too large but the 4 is perfect. i am 5'3" 125lb. this only gets 4 stars because the flannel brush on the inside grabs my leggings so when i am squatting deep or carving it feels like the pants are grabbing my thighs. a smoother, lower friction material for the inside is far more ideal. also only giving 4 stars because the chest pocket is not a beacon pocket. for $700 3L gortex bibs i would expect a beacon pocket.

Nice bibs

I'm 5'3" 125 and I ordered a size 6 short because it seems that the older sentinel bibs ran small. The 6 short was extremely large, especially in the waist. I ultimately returned. I reallllllllyyyy wish arc'teryx would add a description based on the models' dimensions for instance "she is 5'9" 140 lbs in an 8 short." That would be EXTREMELY helpful. Especially because they do not honor exchanges and I can't get a smaller size without paying the difference. Be careful with sizing!

Loving my pants.

I haven't used my bib pants yet however I know that I will be loving them. I bought a pair last year so this purchase is because I loved the last pair so much. They are super comfortable, can be worn alone on warm days and worn with jackets on cold days. No digging in that you get with trousers. Loose fit and stylish. Only thing that I don't like is that both my bibs were slightly too long so I had to take them up. I am 5ft 5inches tall. I have only ever bought one pair of regular ski pants from Arcteryx that didn't need taking up. Maybe size 14 could have a short version??

Initial thoughts on sizing :)

Just wanted to share insight on the "revised" design after owning previous versions of the Sentinel Bibs for those of you curious about sizing. Previously bibs have been in s,m,l sizing and during this time I always wore a medium so I have athletic legs and still had space for base layers. When it switched to number sizing I went to an 8 which is bigger than I expected for the same fit. In this new revised version with the new front zip design I am still an 8, but am a big fan of the baggy room and chose a size ten. The pocket on the front is for a phone and not suitable for a transfer and does not have key clip. Overall, the design and fit are great, just a few changes and wanted to share initial thoughts with my online shopping friends :). Let it snow!

Sentinel Bib Pant Women's

Powder days are bib days. Made for freeriders looking for the steep and deep, the Sentinel’s breathable GORE-TEX fabric has a durable 80D face, shuts out wind and snow, and is PFAS-free for lighter footprint. A brushed backer adds comfort. Thigh vents release heat on uptracks, RECCO technology can aid in search situations, a drop seat speeds pit stops, and the pockets are ample and organized. Articulated for the snow, the Sentinel gives you freedom to move on backcountry tours or days at the resort.

What's been updated: Updated with a new GORE-TEX ePE fabric with a more durable 80D recycled face, recycled C-KNIT backer, and a PFAS-free waterproof, breathable laminate.

This product is free of intentionally added PFAS.

The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before.   You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
