Hi we are planning a trip to Morocco. Would these be good for some light hiking and walking in sand?

Hello Katerina, thank you for your question! The Kragg Aura Shoes can work well for light hiking and approach-style walking, thanks to their grippy hiking-style Vibram® Megagrip outsole, protective toe cap, and cushioned midsole. However, these shoes aren't specifically designed as a beach or sand shoe. Because of the open, highly ventilated upper, sand could get inside during extended walks on sandy terrain. For your trip to Morocco, these shoes would be a good option for casual walking and light hikes, but if you'll be spending a lot of time walking in sand, you may find a more closed shoe more comfortable. We hope this helps, and enjoy your trip!

Would these be good for water use? In lake/rivers?

Hi there, thank you for your question. No, the Kragg Aura Shoes are not designed to be used as a water shoe or for use in lakes and rivers. While its open-air upper helps with ventilation and helps feet dry out after activity, these shoes were specifically designed for post-climb recovery, approaches, and easy-to-moderate hikes, and they are not intended for repeated water exposure.

Hi there! Is the insole removable? Thanks!

Hi Chantal, thank you for your question! Yes, the insoles in the Kragg Aura Shoes are removable.

Is this water resistant?

Hi there, thank you for your question. The Kragg Aura Shoes are not water-resistant and are not designed to repel water or precipitation. They are built with an open-system, highly ventilated upper that prioritizes airflow and quick drying, making them ideal for drier, warmer weather conditions. If you’re looking for footwear for wet conditions, we recommend checking out some of our GORE-TEX (GTX) footwear options: https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/c/womens/footwear.

Do these shoes, slip ons run wide? I have a narrow foot

Hi Milie, thank you for your question. We understand how important comfort and fit are, especially if you have a narrower foot. We recommend checking our sizing chart to see how your measurements correspond to our footwear. We also offer free returns within 30 days of purchase and delivery, so you’re welcome to try them on at home and return them if they don't fit as well. You can find the details here: https://arcteryx.com/us/en/help/returns. We hope this helps!
