Great Shoe

Great shoe, length fits to size, a little snug at the widest part of the toe box I found, but seems to be OK. Great grip and quite waterproof so far.

Stiff and disappy

These shoes look good but like the Kopec boots I found the fabric very ‘stiff’.
I also found that they run a tad narrow which restricts which socks I can wear, certainly not giving toes ‘room to splay’ as advertised in the spec

Great All Around Shoe

I used this shoe on a month long trip to New Zealand where we climbed several peaks and trekked. It held up to river crossings, scree bashing and was quite good climbing through 4th class terrain. Comfy fit right out the box, I highly recommend it!

High quality but could be better around ankle

This shoes could be prefect thanks to his rugged material and the lightweight but it will better if there is more thickness around the ankle.
The shoes move up and down and that’s why i can’t rate 4 or 5 stars. My ankle is not supported enough for intensive long hike because of this lack of material.
However, the quality of the shoes is high and I’m happy to have it for other purpose.
Please, put a buckle on the back to be able to tie them with a carabiner.

Good trail shoes

This is my second pair of Arcteryx trail shoes. I have used them for one trail hike so far and they were comfortable from the start. The shoes fitted well on my feet staying firm on rough ground and the Vibram soles stuck to the rocks. So far so good.

Poor fit, poor quality, poor service.

I own a lot of Arc'teryx gear and clothes, and love all of it, except these new Kopec GTX shoes, which I'm returning.
For me, these are a poor fit. The shoe is a full size wrong for me: I'm a US 12 and the Kopec that fits me is a US 13. The width is too narrow for me to use, even in the larger size.
For me, these are poor quality. The glue is messy along the seams. The sole and insole don't work well together, for me, because the sole is hard and the insole is so thin. The laces don't go high enough, especially for any kind of hiking.
For me, the customer service has been poor. Many emails going back-and-forth due to Arc'teryx losing an order, then refusing to do a return via FedEx/UPS/USPS/DHL, then refusing to do an in-store return , then refusing to refund for a pair of shoes that the shipping company never delivered. Five orders, all had problems. So far, two orders have been refunded, and three orders are still to do.
