Question 1

Will this keep me warm on my winter runs?

Luna · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question! The Kyanite Pullover Hoody is a warm, versatile stretch-fleece layer that performs well across a variety of mountain activities. It’s made with Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro fleece, which provides excellent freedom of movement, good breathability, and has a brushed interior that adds reliable warmth and next-to-skin comfort. While it offers warmth, comfort, and mobility, it wasn’t specifically designed for running. We hope this helps!

Question 2

What is the difference between polartec stretch and polartec air? Which provides more warmth between this kyanite pullover and the rethel hoody? And which has a softer touch to the skin?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello Jorge, thanks for your question. Polartec® Power Stretch®, used in the Kyanite Pullover, is designed for dynamic movement, offering excellent breathability, moisture management, and a close-to-skin softness with four-way stretch. Polartec® Power Air™, featured in the Rethel Hoody, is engineered for lightweight warmth and sustainability, with encapsulated lofted fibres that trap heat while shedding fewer microfibers. Between the two, the Rethel Hoody provides more warmth, making it ideal for cooler conditions, while the Kyanite Pullover has a noticeably softer feel against the skin and excels in active layering. Your choice depends on whether you prioritize warmth and durability or next-to-skin comfort.

Question 3

Is this hydrophobic?

Seymour · Accepted Answer

Hi Benji, thanks for reaching out. The Kyanite Pullover Hoody is treated with an FC0 DWR finish, which provides a water and dirt-repellent effect. While this helps shed light moisture, the hoody is not fully waterproof. We hope this helps!
