Does Nu Technical Detergent leave a smell (e.g., any unpleasant detergent smell) on the jacket after the wash? I see on one review it said their garment was left with a smell. Therefore, asking to get a confirmation.

Hi Arcteryx, I have both a Ralle Parka coat and a Ralle Down Parka coat. Should I be using the Nu Technical Detergent on the Ralle Parka and the Nu Down Detergent on the Ralle Down Parka?

To clean the jacket, the Nu Down Detergent is the best choice for insulated garments. It’s designed to gently clean and restore loft and performance in both down and synthetic insulation. The Nu Technical Detergent, on the other hand, is better suited for GORE‑TEX, fleece, and softshell fabrics. If you notice that the jacket is no longer beading water, detergent alone won’t restore that; the DWR needs to be reapplied.
