Good fit, great fit and finish

Fit is good not to tight not to roomy. The leg endings are a little tight. The zippers are quite smooth but could really use cords or puller tabs. The seam of the right leg pocket feels weird on the leg. Almost as if it’s wet. Material is great and when new sheds water perfectly. Robust enough but still with some stretch. Fit and finish is great. Would buy again!

Simplemente perfectos. Minimalista, simple, elegante y sencillo. Nada de exceso de material que pueda impedir o dificultar tu movimiento natural sin ser demasiado estrecho o ajustado. Tiene los bolsillos justos y necesarios pada poder guardar esporádicamente algo en ellos. Nunca me ha gustado recargar los bolsillos, es incómodo al caminar. Son tan cómodos que los voy a usar para trekking, pasear, estar por casa, en definitiva, para casi todo. Un gran acierto, ahora solo falta que la durabilidad acompañe. 181 cm y 78 kg y la talla M me va perfecta.

Great product but sizing is weird - see below

Fantastic product overall and a great addition to the range - well built, nice material, construction and cut (see below re sizing issues). More colour options please arcteryx!
IMPORTANT: read the sizing chart carefully because the sizing is weird - the “30 is actually 32, the “32” is actually 34 and so on. Why arcteryx? Why not just make the listed size correspond to the actual waist size of the garment? Even your customer service agents don’t understand the system. Sort it out please.
In conclusion, if you’re getting these then you might need to size down (going by the sizing chart) in the waist like I did, but the waistband is quite snug so if you’ve got belly/bigger waist then I’d just stick to your regular size (again going by the sizing chart). Oh and the Regular leg is pretty much perfect on me (I’m 6’0 male with a 31” inside leg)

You may have received a bad cut or inconsistent size. I’m a 34 and mine were 100% true to size. I know as of late some styles do vary and I’ve ordered multiple pairs of tech wool joggers last season and there all different lengths. I assumed they ran a little small and also ordered a 36 to try both sizes. 34 for perfect and is certainly not a full size up. Weird?!

Great fit and build

Overall the build, fit and materials are what you would typically expect from Arc. No comment on durability as I just got them. Compared to the Gamma ARs from a few years back, the material is thinner and lighter with fewer features. I would only question the price point as I not convinced these warrant the same cost as Gamma ARs. Still, great product so far. The short inseam was perfect for me and for reference I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam. The pants hit my ankles and doesn't ride up much when sitting or squatting.
No future revisions needed but more color ways.

Material not durable to interior rubbing

I own three pairs. Two purchases 6-12 months ago, one about 2 months ago. On the older two pair I noticed the fabric cinching up in the upper calf area. On both pair, identical location. The newest pair does not show this (yet)
I agreed with most reviewers that these pants were “what I was looking for”, “great material”, “great fit”. I did not use them for physical activity….just around the house and over gym shorts (sweat pant alternative”. I did not work out, hike, run, etc in these pants.
The fabric is obviously rubbing the back of my calf and pilling on the inside…causing the material to tighten up in that area. What the heck. Material is great out of the box but is garbage. I wish I had seen this issue before ordering a third pair. I don’t even have big calves or anything!

GOAT pants

I’ve only had these for a week but I’ve hiked, skid, done daily chores and slept in them. Basically haven’t taken them off. I’m 5’7”, 170-lbs, 32” waist, 29.5” inseam, former powerlifter, thick butt/hips/thighs. Medium/short are a perfect fit with just a little room to spare. If I have a cell phone in the pocket they start to slip down a bit and I need to use the draw cord. Length is spot on for joggers. They are actually a wee bit baggier than I’d prefer but that leaves room for base layers if needed. They will be perfect for climbing because of the cut, stretch and wind resistance. Pockets are bomber, perfectly designed. If Arcteryx makes them in different colors I’m buying them immediately. Only change I would make is it would be nice if they had a the stitching for a fake fly in the front, just to look a bit more neat for public use.

My new daily joggers

Absolutely nailed these! I have the standard gamma LTs in black in a short and they are still quite long. These are perfect! I ordered them as I’m not close to any arc stores more to see if they fit and was not planning to keep them. Let’s just say they are not going back! I like them so much the standard gamma pants will not get any wear. If there were additional colors I’d purchase them all! Absolutely love the color and was surprised that it was a little darker and richer than photographed. Gammas are my weapon of choice for rho base layers and these being a jogger I was concerned however under-layers work perfectly! They are not overly slim and certainly not bootcut (baggy) they are a perfect in between and fit my larger thighs. I typically wear a 34/35 waist and ordered these in a 36 as the gammas seem to run just a single size smaller in my experience and these joggers having an elastic waist I rather size up. It was the right move, they are not loose and also have a tie if I load the pockets. Overall super happy with these, again I was. It intending to keep them and I’m glad I gave them a shot. They are my absolute favorite ew joggers!

The pants I have waited for

For me the ultimate pants. Im 1,84 m with and very strong legs. Usually I have problems with tight thighs with most pants. Not with this. 36/32 R suits perfect, waist as expected, super comfortable, still sleek and good looking. Excellent fit, after 3 sec I knew it’s my go to pants for hiking and hanging around. Please offer more colors, I’m going to buy them all.

The color is off, first of all, in person it is more of a military green color than the color shown. Second I ordered the 34-short, which on the sizing chart specifies the inseam is 30inches for short sizes, but in person, because the tapered cuff it doesn't cover my ankles, but the extra length stacks above the ankle makes it look very baggy.

The do-it all pants

Only had them for a couple weeks but been able to put them through the paces of activity, travel, city, and high alpine and they quickly have become my favorite pants. They are light, durable, and have a drawstring instead of a buckle or snap- so much better.

I am 175lbs. I normally wear a 31 or 32 waist but sized down because 32 was out of stock. Because I am in the middle I could get away with it. The orange cord is something I had around the house - I make them. It is orange poly wrapped dyneema core with black shrink-tubing on the ends of an overhand knot - works great even when frozen.

Perfect cut for climbing

I really love the cut of the pant, it fits me perfectly. The lengthof the leg is spot on. I like the tapper at the bottom most because my foot placement while climbing is much better visible for me. Also the stretch of the fabric and the placement of the pockets is great, every pocket is zippered. The pant is also great for everyday use, it doesn't look like a piece of equipment. Hiking in these pants in dryer climate is also good as the pant is quite breathable. A comfy pant for flights too.
What I miss is a working DWR-coating, the fabric doesn't repel rain and moist very well and gets soaked wet quick, here I'm used to a better protection.

I’d say they fit pretty true to size however they aren’t super elastic in the waist so wouldn’t hurt to grab the size up just cuz they are a little tight at the top of the leg if ya got bigger thighs. Solid though, would buy again!

I bought my regular size and regretted it but this comment is missleading. I’m a size 34 in gamma pants and should have gotten a size 32 in these.

5'10", 165 lbs, fairly athletic. 30-R was too small, 32-R fits pretty well in the waist. I like the pocket layout and material durability. But I think there needs to be a shorter option, the leg should taper a bit more at the bottom, and the waist band could be a bit wider and more comfortable. And there should be more colors and faster restocks, and then an identical pant in the gamma light fabric. And then you shouldn't discontinue them!

Great jogger

I’m 1.83 cm and 82 kg with an athletic build. These joggers fit me perfect. Not to loose and not to tight. Stretch is good en the quality feels durable. Only have the joggers for one week.

Good, versatile pants!

These are nice pants that can be used in a lot of ways, from urban activities to day hikes. The fabric is the same as the regular Gamma and probably a little too thick for the hottest summer days, but it is stretchy and tough. I am not a big fan of the stitches at the back of the knee which rub on my skin a little. I also find the inner drawcord at the waist a bit impractical and annoying, but none of these minor flaws are real dealbreakers. Might be a good option if you need something more casual than the regular gamma pants but a little more technical than sweatpants. Fits true to size, I am 34 waist and the M fits perfectly, inseam length also great. Color are pretty depressing, so why not add something a little funkier?

Wanted to like these pants, as I love the jogger silhouette. At 5'8 they were just a bit too long. A shorter size would've been perfect, and I'd have bought all the colours.
Didn't get the chance to test the pants, but felt very quality and durable. Good stretch and mobility.
