Are they fully waterproof for rain and wind in colder climates?

It’s made from a heavyweight cotton‑nylon blend, which is durable and breathable but isn't designed for rain protection. It does have a PFAS‑free DWR finish, so it can shed light moisture and block wind, but it won’t keep you dry in sustained rain or wet, cold conditions. If rain protection is essential for your use, we’d recommend considering our Beta Pant for full GORE‑TEX weather coverage.

The Cronin AR uses a heavier 315gsm cotton/nylon blend, making it more rugged, durable, and better suited for cooler conditions. The Cronin Cotton Pant uses a lighter 260gsm cotton/nylon stretch fabric, which feels softer, is slightly more breathable, and is better suited for warmer weather conditions. The Cronin AR also has a more workwear-inspired design with a regular fit, while the Cronin Cotton fits slightly looser and features our relaxed fit. We hope this helps!
