Question 1

Is this rain jacket and what’s the difference with altira jacket

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello Deniz, yes, the Naya Cropped Jacket is a rain jacket. Both the Naya and Altira Cropped Jackets are fully waterproof GORE‑TEX shells, but the main difference comes down to durability and versatility. The Altira uses a higher‑denier face fabric, making it the more durable and technical option for rougher use, while the Naya keeps the same waterproof protection in a lighter, more versatile everyday build. So they’re both true rain jackets — Altira is the tougher, more mountain‑ready choice, and Naya is the streamlined daily‑wear option.

Question 2

Hi! I was wondering what size I should get, Xs or S. I have tried the Beta jackets and there is quite A bit of room around the bust and the hips (almost 1,5-2cm) so what is the best fit? ☺️

Hi Sunni, thank you for your question. To help you find the right size for the Naya Cropped Jacket, we would be happy to provide the key measurements for sizes XS and S. We recommend comparing your body measurements to those below. If your measurements are between sizes, select a larger size for a looser fit or a smaller size for a tighter fit.

Size XS

Waist Width: 100.5cm
Center Back Length: 53.2cm
Sleeve Length (from center back neck to shoulder point to bottom sleeve edge): 81.5cm

Size S
Chest Width: 105.5cm
Waist Width: 105.5cm
Center Back Length: 54.5cm
Sleeve Length: 84cm

We hope this helps!

Question 3

what justifies the price difference between this model and the altira?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hello there, great question! The price difference between the Naya Cropped Jacket and the Altira Cropped Jacket comes down to the very different fabric weights, construction complexity, and durability levels between the two pieces, even though both use GORE‑TEX ePE and are fully waterproof. The Naya is a lightweight 40d/70d 3L shell built for summer storms, prioritizing breathability and packability. The Altira, on the other hand, uses a much heavier 200d recycled nylon canvas face, pleated patterning for mobility, bonded utility pockets, and a more robust construction designed for higher abrasion resistance and long-term durability. This significantly heavier fabric, added reinforcement, and more complex patterning make the Altira more expensive to produce, which is what drives the higher price point compared to the Naya.

Question 4

il y a t-il une ouverture ( fermeture éclair ) sous les bras ?

River, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thank you for your question. The center back length for the Naya Cropped Jacket in size Large is 22.95" and 23.98" in size Extra Large. Hope this helps!

Question 7

In terms of weight is it comparable to the Beta SL or Beta Jacket?

Helio, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Melly, thank you for reaching out. The Naya Cropped Jacket is very comparable in weight to both the Beta SL and the Beta Jacket. The Beta and Beta SL weigh approximately 300 g, whereas the Naya weighs 285 grams. The Naya is slightly lighter, and it uses the same 40d × 70d 3L GORE‑TEX face fabric as the Beta SL, offering similar protection in a lighter, cropped silhouette. We hope this helps!

Question 8

Is it noisy?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Naya Cropped Jacket is made with 3L GORE-TEX® ePE fabric with a C-KNIT™ backer. As with most GORE-TEX® shell jackets, there can be some sound with movement. That said, it is not considered louder than an average jacket. We recommend trying on the jacket in person to see if the material suits your needs. We hope this helps!
