Question 6

If I wear a size L in the Atom will I need a XL in the Kyanite Lightweight jacket as its a snugger fit ?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Mark, thanks for reaching out. For the Kyanite Lightweight Jacket, we don’t recommend sizing up, as it’s designed to offer a close-to-body fit that moves with you. To find your best fit, we suggest taking a look at our sizing chart and fit guide, which will help match your measurements to the right size.

Question 7

I saw "KYANITE LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET " is little heavier than "DELTA JACKET". Can I assume that KYANITE LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET is warmer than DELTA JACKET? Another question: if I use for hiking, which one is recommended and has better breathable material?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hi Jeff, thanks for your question! The Kyanite Lightweight Jacket might offer a bit more warmth than the Delta Jacket, thanks to its stretch fleece material, which provides a balance of light warmth and moisture management. However, warmth can be subjective and influenced by personal preferences and the specific conditions you're in, so it's hard to pinpoint an exact comparison. Both jackets feature breathable materials that work well for hiking, so either would be a solid option depending on the breathability and features you're looking for on the trail.

Question 8

What revisions/updates have been made to this version of the Kyanite Jacket (X000006481) vs the previous version (X000007377)?

Dave · Accepted Answer

Hi Greg. The Kyanite Lightweight Jacket has been updated with a new fabric made with recycled content.

Question 9

best temperature to wear this jacket

River · Accepted Answer

Hello Eustachio, since warmth is subjective, we do not advertise degree ratings for our products. That said, we believe that the Kyanite Lightweight Jacket is a great option for cool summer nights or warmer spring/fall days.

Question 10

Could this be worn under the Atom hoody?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello there, depending on how your Atom Hoody fits on you, we believe you could wear the Kyanite Lightweight Jacket underneath it. As these two products have a fitted fit, you will probably get a very snug fit if you wear both products on.
