Vêtements techniques, très bien conçu. Différents de mes autres vestes Arcteryx. Je l’utilise pour le ski de fond. Attention pour la grandeur, elle est un peu plus petite que tous mes autres vestes.

😍The perfect layer 😍

The perfect layer DOES exist. For cold weather running, hiking, and even biking, this jacket has all the right insulation in all the right places. It will even be a great layer for high summer backcountry trips. My fav features? Don’t even get me started on the built in mittens — for those of us with Reynauds, the extra bit of hand warmth is a dream! The single pocket fits my phone, which is all I need it to do. I will most often wear this layer with a pack so I’d rather it be streamlined. All in all, this is my new fav layer. You can tell it was designed by runners for runners — they really did think of everything!

Perfect running jacket unless you have long arms

Used this on a few winter trail runs now for 1-2hrs, and overall really happy with it. I like the length, and the insulation is in the right spots - it’s more comfortable in terms of heat management than my atom sl and proton sl (my previous go-to jackets for colder runs). I don’t mind the fact that it only has the small single pocket - I can wear a vest if I want to bring a bunch of stuff. The only con I think is that the arms are quite short. I’m 5’6 with normal/shorter limbs and can barely fit the little built in mitten flaps over my hands (a feature which I LOVE). Would love to see the arms a little longer on this jacket.

Winter Run Essential!

The Norvan Insulated Jacket exceeded expectations on a -20°C trail run! The adjustable hood was a game-changer, even with mitts on, providing quick protection and comfort. Despite some wind, the jacket kept me warm and fully shielded for two hours of exposure.
The reverse pocket was a brilliant feature—perfect for stashing nutrition and an extra neck warmer with zero bounce. I also loved the extended wrist length, which seamlessly covered my watch and eliminated any gap between mitt and sleeve.
This jacket is a winter trail essential!

Super light but warm jacket!

Super light and packable, this is perfect for winter hike/trail run. Surprisingly warm for such light material , I felt comfortable and not overheated during a cold winter hike. Also found the flip- mitts very useful. This jacket was a bit shorter and fitted compared with Atom (my everyday go to) and went well with my waist pack. (I use lumber pack rather than back pack during hikes.) though there was room for layering underneath.
Overall works well for my purpose and happy with the purchase.

Looks good, but no real pockets!

I love this jacket, except for one very important thing! It has no proper pockets! It only has one backwards pocket which is difficult to get your hand into. This jacket could be a lot more functional if they would only add functional pockets to it!

For those wondering, those strange solo pockets are pretty common on ultralight and compact performance jackets: they're meant to be an integrated stuff sacks so you can invert the jacket into the pocket and zip it up into a small easily stored package. They double as a spare pocket, but generally are not optimized for that kind of usage.
You don't always need a heavier hybrid mid layer, or a wind shell, or a hard shell: these kinds of pockets make it practical to quickly store and swap out gear as needed.
Everyone has their own preferred setup, but a lot of trail and mountain runners, ultramarathons, etc. do not use pockets on jackets or shirts because items will shift and bounce around in loose pockets no matter what you do, which is why so many runners will use running bands (very wide elastic waist bands that are basically all pocket), running vests, or running packs where items are tensioned against the body.
