I had a pair for 2-3 years as an uphill glove for ski touring.
Good grip, wind and snow protection, dexterity and durability.
They wore off after 2-3 seasons of extensive use and I just got a second pair to replace them.
I wear thin wool liners under every glove all the time and a bulky watch. So I really like the soft and wide gauntlet that can be word over or under the cuff and that there is no velcro. Velcro is evil!

I’m probably between a M and L, I bought the L and they fit a bit loose. Superb quality material, nice long under the cuff design with wrist strap.
Should work perfectly for my SAR work.

J'aime beaucoup ces gants. Je les utilises lors des montées en haute -route par journées pas trop froides et pour faire du vélo l'automne. Très confo.
Je les ai toujours dans mon sac de patrouille pour faire les sauvetages avec des cordes.

Good product. Maybe too light to ise in high mountain if there is no hot. I had cold in a wind day during a mountainguiding on ortles.

These are good

I bought these as a protective shell to use over glove liners for great dexterity. The sizing is spot on and even with the intentional oversize I’m impressed with articulation. Quality and materials are outstanding and I’m looking forward to pairing with heated liner for the ultimate glove system.

Very poor quality for 125 $ gloves

After only one season of use, mainly rock climbing cragging, so no long rappels or extended mountain missions, these gloves opened at the seams exactly where the rope passes when lowering or feeding rope. Very disappointed to see that such an expensive pair of gloves would give in so fast.
I bought them last April 2022 and stopped using them by September 2022. Last week after contacting Arc'teryx, their answer was that I should expect this type of wear and tear from their product. I hoped you would stand by your products a bit more and really offer the quality and service expected from such a high-end brand.

I read somewhere....years ago when you saw someone wearing a something with the dead bird on it you could talk to him or her about climbing and hiking. Nowadays you just know that he he has some extra money. So true!
I got the gloves as a Christmas gift. I used them ones on Mt. Sir Donald. Seams didn't last and the leather looked like they were 10 years old. My wardrobe is full of arc'teryx but I thing I reached the point where I give up on you! At least I got my money back but had to pay for shipping.

I’m having the same experience with footwear and AJ in warranty. Disappointing to see other long term customers having the same poor experience.

Poor fit, poor materials

As a women who wears size small gloves, I ordered a "unisex" XS. The fingers are way too long for practical/professional use guiding. The gloves are a shell, with no brushing/lining, so if these do fit you I would suggest buying the thin merino liner to make these feel nice on your hands. Bottom line, dexterity was terrible and the material felt scratchy. Returning. Please make gloves for women guides!

Disagree that these fit small for size. I normally wear medium, but ordered large based on the above review. Should have stuck with medium, the large are a bit too big. I would say the fit is true to size.

Best rope gloves I've used

I use this gloves for mountaineering, rope rescue, rope access and tactical rope work. Hands down best gloves I've ever worn. Nice snug fit, very supple and no lack of dexterity, and amazingly hard wearing. The elastic cords that come with them I've thrown out, but other than that, work perfectly, plus the gauntlet cuffs don't inadvertantly push the buttons on my watch like other kinds of gloves with velcro fasteners around the cuff. Great product, 13/10 would recommend!
