Ski Guide Bib Pant Men's

Great pants but for the larger, barrel chested guy... you need to seriously size up. I'm 5'9", a solid 195 pounds and the Large was super constricting around my waist so moved up to the XL, which makes the inseam just a little too long.

For years, I’ve been searching for a replacement for my old Arcteryx Sabre pants, which I loved for their fit and functionality. However, I wanted something more rugged since I had to repair those a few times. When I came across these Pro pants, they seemed perfect for ski guiding due to their tougher materials, and I liked their shape, which felt more suited for skiing than climbing. I’m 175 cm (5’9”) and 72 kg (160 pounds) and usually wear a size 30 pant, so I initially thought a size small would be ideal. However, after reading several reviews recommending to size up, I decided to order both small and medium, along with the Practitioner top in small. When the order arrived, the Practitioner top fit perfectly. But as I zipped up the small pants, it felt like I was putting on a corset. The legs fit fine, but that last bit of zip was uncomfortably tight, even when wearing just a base layer. I then tried the medium, which felt much better overall, though a bit snug in the crotch area. For those experiencing this, I’d recommend checking where the belt sits. In my case, the suspenders were too short, but after adjusting them, the fit improved. Ultimately, I’m keeping the medium, as the small restricted my mobility. The medium pants do drag slightly on the ground when I’m barefoot, so I wondered if the medium short would have been a better option, though it was unavailable at the time. I hesitated on the short version, fearing it might also shorten the torso, leading to discomfort. Overall, while I preferred the looser waist and large torso pocket of my old Sabre pants, these Pro pants feel more durable, and I’m excited to use them. I hope this review helps others with their sizing decisions!

Bulletproof Pant. N140 is rugged , reliable , durable . Good for Alpine skiing but not %100 , good for Alpine work environment but not %100 … High-end pant that does all . This should be the first pant to purchase for all pro Arcteryx member. After a long delay , I have mine finally and very happy with it. Knee pads are amazing.

Everyone did say they fit a bit slim. They added an elastic band to the waist that makes it fit tight. I removed the elastic band and gave me so much more room. The knee pants are so nice to have. By far my fav bib. Wish they would make the chest pocket bigger to keep phone in.

Great fabric and fit. Ordered a large at 5.7 and 200 pounds and fit is good that doesn't construct telemark ups and down movement.

I bought this at the beginning of the season for Ski Patrolling. It's the perfect bib pant! Knee pads help protect the knees in all conditions, and side pockets are big. I've got two small cuts in the pant (probably from skis or something else), which I'll have to get patched up, but I don't have any negative comments at all. These are pricey, but should let for years and years to come.

I purchased these through work for my team and have used them every single day working in Alaska. Ice climbing, skiing, and helicopter work. I’ve had no issues with durability. The cargo pockets and knee pads are a huge make or break the these made it. 32 pant waist and the larges are snug in the butt. Size up

Bulletproof pants, kneepads are a nice touch for snow pits. They run small so definitely size up. I'm a 32 waist and the size medium is tight in the crotch. More pockets would be nice.
