Question 6

Would you recommend this jacket for skiing in snowy conditions?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The Coelle Jacket is a lightweight, packable GORE-TEX shell designed primarily for hiking and everyday wear. When layered properly, it can perform well in snowy conditions, though it does not include ski-specific features. If you’re looking for a shell built specifically for skiing, we recommend checking out the Rush Jacket for the best performance on the slopes. We hope this helps!

Question 7

What are the length and width measurements for all the sizes?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Renz, thanks for reaching out. While we do not have size charts of the actual product measurements available to the public, we recommend taking your own body measurements and using our sizing chart to find which size is best for you. If you’re between sizes or would like more details, you’re welcome to reach out through our Contact Us form. Our team will be happy to provide a few specific measurements of the product to help you decide. We hope this helps!

Question 8

Is this a good jacket for winter? I have an Eurotrip on winter and I wanna use it everyday?

River · Accepted Answer

Hello Grecia, The Coelle Jacket is a lightweight, packable GORE-TEX shell designed primarily for rain protection and everyday wear. While it offers excellent waterproofing and breathability, it is not insulated, which means it won’t provide standalone warmth in cold winter conditions. For a winter Eurotrip—especially in colder months like December and January—you’ll likely need to layer it over a warm mid-layer such as the Atom Hoody or a down-insulated piece to stay comfortable. The Coelle is ideal as an outer shell for wind and rain, but not sufficient on its own for winter temperatures.

Question 9

Question 10

Is this jacket suitable for rainy tropical or hot weather climates?

Sophie · Accepted Answer

Hello, thanks for your question! Most of our GORE-TEX pieces are built for durability and long-term performance, which can make them a bit too warm for consistently hot climates. If you're after something more lightweight and breathable—but still offering reliable weather protection—we recommend the Norvan Jacket. Originally designed for high-output activities like trail running, it’s one of our lightest and most breathable GORE-TEX options, making it well-suited for hot, humid, and wet conditions where overheating is a concern. Currently, the women’s version is unavailable online, though we do have men’s sizes in stock. For updates on restocks and new arrivals, we suggest signing up for our newsletter—it's the best way to stay in the loop and be the first to hear about new releases and availability. We hope this helps, and we are happy to answer any further questions. https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/help/contact https://arcteryx.com/ca/en/shop/mens/norvan-jacket-9571
