Question 1

The product images show two different designs for the front of the jacket. So, is the hooded version a flat front design like the jacket/standup collar version and the standalone jacket image or does it have the "flaps" as in the model images?

Conan Edogawa · Accepted Answer

It's obvious they provided the wrong image. The image showing the flap belongs to another hoodie called Quartic.

How often do you recommend washing ISOGON? Will washing affect the lifespan of the taped seams?

Seymour, Arc'teryx Guest Services · Accepted Answer

Hi Lucky, thanks for reaching out. How often you wash your Isogon MX Hoody really depends on how frequently and intensely you use it. We recommend washing it when it looks dirty or has visible stains. Following the care instructions carefully will not negatively affect the lifespan or performance of the jacket, and regular washing and proper care can actually help extend its life. We hope this helps!

Question 6

Hello, does the Isogon MX have a fleece lining similar to the Gamma MX? Are they comparable layers? I am looking to replace my Gamma MX. Thank you.

River · Accepted Answer

Hello there, thanks for reaching out! While both the Gamma MX and Isogon MX are softshell layers designed for versatility, they differ significantly in construction and warmth. The Gamma MX features a Fortius™ 2.0 fabric with a polyester fleece backer, offering notable insulation and a soft, brushed feel, ideal for cold, active conditions. In contrast, the Isogon MX uses Burly™ double weave nylon with a plain weave lining and no fleece backer, making it more abrasion-resistant but less thermally insulating. If you're looking to replace your Gamma MX with something similarly warm and fleece-lined, the Isogon MX may feel lighter and less cozy in colder conditions
