Acheté il y a un mois, j'ai découert a la première sortie que le pantalon ne résiste même pas a une marche de 10 mn sous la pluie. Réponse d'arcteryx: "Avez-vous essayé de nettoyer le pantalon avec des produits reimpermeabilisants?"
Vraiment ? un pantalon neuf, de prêt de CHF 400.- ?!?

Not durable.

I've used on two trips so far. Ecuador and Argentina, while all my other Arc stuff has held up to everything, these have not. The fabric rips and tears easily. I've got about a dozen small tears that I've had to use patches on. The pants are light, fit, and move well, but they are not durable at all.

The perfect overpant for bad weather

I used these pants almost every day on Trango Tower in Pakistan when the storms would roll in. They are incredibly light, so can live in your pack when it is not storming, and are incredibly comfortable when you are indeed wearing them when it calls for it. 100% recommend using these with the Gamma pant and the Alpha Jacket. You cant go wrong.

No excuses to not bring the waterproof pants now

I love how light and simple these pants are. Fully zips helps too with transitions. They are stormproof, and add warmth on windy cold missions. Great addition to the laying system. I combine them with Gamma AR for a wide range of temps and objectives.

Excellent pant for every season

I use this pants in the Andes and in the Alps, I highly recommend this pants, also Arc’teryx made different sizes for people that we have short legs.

Best Emergency Pant

I am writing this review based on the Beta LT Hadron Pant, which at least to me appears to be the same as this “Alpha Pant” despite the reasonable name change. I have used this pant as my main hiking pant during wet conditions. As a hiker who lives in a relatively dry climate (Southern Alberta) these pants have been the perfect option to keep in my pack as an emergency layer as they pack down super small, hardly weigh anything, and breathe extremely well. I’ve never seen a goretex pant that breathes quite like this pair does.
I would say these are an excellent emergency pant however I would be very careful with them, the light fabric could tear very easily, I already got a small hole on the bum from a slip in a wet rock.
In conclusion great for emergencies but not great for constant use due to the low durability. If you plan to climb with these, look else where, I can’t imagine they would last very long, but for backpacking they are not too shabby.

The pant is described as "Light, highly durable GORE-TEX pant " But the only review says its not durable. I need a pant for Search and Rescue durability is important. I guess I need to wait for more feed back or buy something else.
