Built for long approaches, rugged terrain, and purposeful movement through winter landscapes, the Konseal Trek Shoe is an ode to Salish winter traditions, where travel is guided by focus, respect, and deep knowledge of the land. “Cedar is known as the tree of life in Salish culture,” says designer and Walk Gently founder Cole Sparrow-Crawford. “The print design is a quiet nod to the cedar tree as camouflage, honouring how natural materials and patterns have long supported people moving unseen through their territories. Its design and function are intended to support traditional winter harvesting practices.”
