Too short, stretched out after minimal use.

These are warm but as stated in other reviews, too short. I've had them for several months now and they do not keep their shape - kind of saggy. Bummed as my older pair were perfect for length, warmth, and keeping their shape.

Zipper on the thigh pocket

I wad disappointed as The zipper on the thigh pocket wad broken when arrived.
I am a senior citizen so don’t have the resources to return it. Will keep it because it is a good fit for me.

Oh how I love these!

So warm and comfortable. I bought them as a base layer while skiing but find myself reaching for them anytime I get cold. I even winter run in them and find them very warm, yet never too warm. The only thing I wish they had was a drawstring to help keep them in place, but still a definite favorite!

Way too short on me.

Every thing felt great except the length. Now that I look at the models, it does look short. I get the base layer won't be hit below the ankle but the bottom hit close to the bottom of my calf. I almost felt like I received a miss-stitched piece it was so short? For reference, I wear a 31" or 32". I'm 5'7", 150 and athletic frame. So Large 31.5" inseam should of been great. I know not the same product, but the old Rho AR bottoms from 2019 fit me perfect in the same size. (I have 3 pair) I have yet to find another Arc'teryx pant that fits me as well and I think I'll give up. I have had sizing issues in the past with one pair being short and one having the waist band too tight. Then buying the same style # from a different store and they were perfect. So maybe it was quality control or maybe I have giraffe legs. If your shorter, they probably will be perfect as they seem to be good quality.

I noticed the same thing with the length was well. I'm 5'5" and weigh 115#. I ordered a small. When I r43e sieved therm and tried them on they looked funny with the hem about two inches above my ankles. At first, I thought well maybe I accidentally ordered the Rho boot cut model but I didn't. the label stamped inside the back of the leggings said S.P. Small Petite. And on the tag it just said small and on my order it's a small I never wanted a petite. In fact I need my ankles covered and that's why I bought these. It's really disappointing. I live leave for Europe for three months and I don't know if I have time to get them sent and return to me in a different size. I don't even know that they'll have the size available since black Friday sales had just closed and inventory was depleted. Very frustrating. The quality, the design, the overall warmth.... everything else was great. I just need two more inches on the length and I'd be beaming with joy.

Best long underwear ever

As a lifelong skier, who skis pretty well every day all season, I would highly recommend these pants as a base layer. The high waist is perfect for the ultimate tuck in, and the material is soft and super warm. 10/10!

Warm, comfy and cozy!

Splurged a bit and bought a few nice pieces from Arc'teryx and I was not disappointed. Wore these as a standalone layer for a snowy 5 mile hike in Maine and was warm and dry throughout the hike. Highly recommend!

Great color and nice design

I wear these as a primary layer during the winter because I won't wear jeans when its 20 degrees or less. Throw on a snow skirt and I have a perfect outfit. So warm and soft, comfy free movement, and can layer up under ski pants when its a really cold day.

Extremely warm and comfortable bottom

I am very happy with this pant, so comfortable and warm. I wear it as the mid layer so there is no pilling issue happened. The only problem the size, this bottom size is a little bit loose. I am S, but this pant I will recommend downsize to XS.

Skied full day at -30 temps and stayed warm. Excellent warmth and breathability. The medium size fits very large. Recommend to size down.

I wanted to get a second pair of thermals for skiing and after checking these out in the store I loved the plush thickness and softness so bought myself a pair. I got the pink which I usually avoid but loved the richness of the colour. I've worn them out skiing on Whistler and they were really comfy and kept me warm under my shell bibs. The only downside is the fit. I'm slim build usually wearing a size 4 but the Small in these feel massive and baggy. I'd probably recommend sizing down for a better fit

Super warm and soft. I use them for resort skiing or freezing backcountry days. They are tight to the skin, making it easy to layer under ski pants/ fit into ski boots without an issue. Also just super cozy to wear around the house.

I have had these for a few weeks now and love them. They make a great base layer on super cold days where I’m not travelling very far. And when I get home, I typically don’t want to take them off because they are so comfy. I’m so glad I bought them.

The Pilling is Devistating on my NEW Rho Bottoms

My heart sinks writing about the quality of these pants. I purchased 2 pair this year because I loved the old version. I am sad to report that out of the bag, just wearing to work (I'm a nurse and change into scrubs) for a short time, the inner thigh pilling is atrocious. Know that Arcteryx does not regard pilling as a warranty issue, therefore your new $130.00 pants may keep you warm, they look like very worn. Know that I am 5'1 at 122 lbs and purchased a Medium for a more loose fit. I am sad that Arcteryx can charge this high dollar amount and be Ok with this quality. Arcteryx, I'm a long time purchaser and love your products. But oh, you've fallen hard on this one.

To add, I had a 6 month old baby sit on my lap which caused immense pilling on the tops of my thighs. I did not climb, roll in the dirt or slide down some hilly terrain. Arcteryx, if holding a baby on my lap does years worth of damage, how will the fabric hold up under normal wear ??? Time to go back to the drawing board before you lose your customer base.

The only reason for 3 rating overall is the sizing. Descriptions of sizing, AND what your models wear (ALL wear S for ALL products regardless of their body measurements) is misleading. List the actual measurements of the garment, because clearly your sizing chart is a joke along with the visual of what a model wears (bust 32, Size S; bust 38 size S; hips 33, size S, hips 38 size S). Why do you even list these whacky measurements and what the model is wearing? Give garment measurements and stick to the size chart! describe the fit better. Be quantitative and correct!
