Insane quality, but can be improved for city use.

For city is okayish but not so much.
On side it has wind protection, but on top of the head you can feel cold wind coming trough.
Even when active I feel cold on top of my head which I do not like
If you will use any hood on top then you will be toasty.
Tested in -5C (23F)
Personally I will try to sew inside fleece till the top and it will be prefect for me.

Great look, Bad fit

Love the look, but compared to my previous gen beanie, the fit is not nearly as good. It’s constantly slipping up off my ears and back of neck. Not sure what changed, but the fit just isn’t like it used to be.

Versand leider eine Katastrophe

Ich habe diese Mütze in der Farbe Orca mit grosser Vorfreude bestellt, da diese in Europa gerade wirklich sehr limitiert ist und ich diese nun schon seit fast zwei Monaten wollte. Als ich endlich genug schnell war die Mütze zu bestellen, habe ich schon Freudesprünge gemacht. Ich habe im Vorhinein geschaut, ob Arcteryx an Packstationen schickt und dies steht so auf der Website. Also habe ich der Umwelt zu Liebe mein Paket an eine DHL Packstation schicken lassen. Leider hat Arcterycx dann mit DPD versendet. Das Paket wurde also nicht zugestellt und zurückgeschickt. Ich habe Arcteryx im Vorhinein geschrieben, dass ich sehr froh wäre über einen erneuten Versand per DHL oder mit DPD an eine Abweichadresse; jedoch wurde mir einfach das Geld zurückgeschickt und drei Tage später eine Nachricht gesendet, dass ich diese erneut bestellen sollte... wenn DAS nur so einfach wäre!
Nun habe ich erneut geschrieben und gefragt, ob es möglich wäre, wenn sie mir eine aus dem US-Lager zuschicken könnten. Leider gehe das auch nicht... welche Firma hat den keinen Kontakt zum eigenen Lager in einem anderen Land.
Um nicht nur Negatives zu schreiben: Ich habe meiner Schwester die Mütze in einer anderen Farbe zum Geburtstag geschenkt und muss sagen, dass diese wirklich Klasse aussieht und auch eine gute Qualität hat. Leider hab ich noch keine. Arcteryx, falls ihr das liest, meldet euch!

Way too small

DESIGN: Love the large logo with small subtle company name
QUALITY: Did not use in the wild but appeared to be quality materials and like the 50/50 wool and recycled polyester blend
FIT: Fits way too small for a one-size-fits-all (55-60cm). I measured prior to purchase. I'm not a big guy, my head is 57cm and the beanie was so tight after a few minutes I started to get a headache. I can't image a 6+ ft guy wearing this.
There's a reason why some their other beanies (RHO TOQUE, etc.) come in two sizes (L-XL is 58-60cm). However, the one-size was meant to go up to 60cm, so likely others would be too small for me too.
Very disappointed as I love the design. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to return it.

This Year's Model Is Larger, And..

Two years ago, I got one of these in black with a purple fossil for my wife, and she still loves it. She has a small head, I have a large one. The previous model did not fit on my noggin; this new model does! Plus, they've added a fleece ring to keep your ears warm. The black and white Orca colorway is really sharp, have received compliments and "Where'd you get that?" questions whenever I wear it.

A very good beanie. 50% merino wool is excellent and the wide fleece band around the head.
The beanie should be higher. Now when covering ears the beanie fits too snugly. It should have left some room top of the head. So, make this beanie higher and the fit will be perfect.
Also add the colour Arctic Silk with light grey decorations, please.

I've had this hat over a year and recently bought it in another colour because I wear my other one so much! I would say the first one I bough which I assume to be last seasons fit slightly smaller than the one I just bought (I had to stretch it over a mixing bowl). The new colour way seems to fit much better out the box.

Ich habe die Mütze seid ca einem Monat und bin mehr als überzeugt. Sie sieht cool aus, passt wie angegossen und hat eine ausgezeichnete Qualität. Ich konnte seid besitz keinerlei Mängel an der Mütze feststellen und würde sie sofort wieder kaufen. Dank der schlichten Farbhaltung kann man sie problemlos zu jeden Outfit anziehen.

Best fit and very warm!

I bought this beanie a month ago although I’ve seen it for years. It was discontinued for some time and I thought I would never be able to purchase it. But when I saw it was restocked I jumped on the opportunity.
It’s my favorite beanie. Stretches well for all head sizes and keeps the ears and head warm with no issues. I also got the black one so it matches and goes with everything. A truly splendid beanie.

Really great beanie for the autumn!

I was able to buy this a couple months back and I hadn’t been able to wear it since it was warm outside. However, now that the seasons have turned and I have been able to test this out, I can really say this hat is perfect. Would recommend to people with “normal sized” heads and it is a bit tight on me but I have a large head.

Nothing subtle about this Toque, the logo jumps off the hat! I honestly think this is the coolest looking beanie/toque available this Fall/Winter. I got the Orca colorway, and like it so much I am going to get the Blue also. What I like most is this year's model seems bigger than last year's. I have a big noggin, and had to give away mine to my wife. Now I can keep the 2023/2024 model.
