Love them

I bought these after having tried othe similar option and am very happy. I practically live in them in colder weather and are a standard edition to my get-up now. Where other brands have let me down these are holding up really well.
Also added advantage: I am tall and have long thin hands. Finding the right fit can be a challenge and these fit like a proverbial glove!

hey hey! I'm looking at getting a pair of these and also have VERY long thin hands & fingers - can you share what size you got? I find I usually need a large size in women's specific sized gloves and a medium in Men's or so-called 'Unisex', but the hand part is typically too roomy when I get the right fit on the fingers... blerrrgh

Great Thin Warm Gloves for walking around town

Great for what I wanted them for which was driving / walks this winter! I am still getting used to actually using my phone with them on, sometimes I find I have to take them off to get it to work but that might be a bit issue, I could have sized down I guess.

Sadly, developed a hole a month after purchase. For this price point they should, at least, last a few months. Dollar store gloves are better quality.

The e-tip is not arcteryx quality

I own a lot of products from arcteryx, and I have to say that these are the first ones I'm actually disappointed with. The e-tip just covers part of the finger so I have to have my finger in an awkward angle to be able to use it, and since it's made of a stiff material it started coming loose from the glove after just a short period of use. I would like if the touch material was soft and covering bigger part of the finger and was on all of the fingers. I ended up buying another pair of cheap gloves that works better.

Don't waste your money

I've had two pairs of these now and the fingers develop little holes immediately that then tear through the glove. Would be great if they were more durable (I love the lack of seams around the fingers, hence why I bought two) but they tear so fast they might as well be single use. Very disappointing.

Simply Effective and Lightweight Warmth

I use these fantastic gloves on a trip to Scotland, and I was thoroughly amazed at how well they performed! Cold, wind, and rain, and they still held up each day. I’m very impressed, and I’m using them as both a liner and standalone glove.

Light wool gloves, for cool walks/hikes

I prefer wool gloves for hikes that don’t require trekking poles, these gloves will keep you warm and go well with wool gaiter and wool hat currently available as well

The Little Wool Glove that Could

This is my go-to wool glove. It's great on its own, which I wear often in New York City in colder months, or as a liner, which I wear under my Fission mittens skiing. The touchscreen features is quite good--better than Smartwool--and I find it's pretty intact even when they are moist. I have three pairs and love them.

Après 5-6 utilisations, un doigt est déjà troué. De plus le bout tactile ne fonctionne pas. Je suis très déçue car ils sont très confortables.

Bought a pair as a splurge for skiing, to be used as a liner for skiing. They developed holes in most fingertips within a few uses. Contacted Arc'teryx for warranty replacement and was told that I would have to cut all the fingers off to prove I wasn't scamming them. Did so, even though that was such a waste of finite resources (have never understood this policy!), and received a pair as replacement. No surprise, they also developed holes within a few uses. Contacted Arc'teryx for another warranty claim; was told it's only one replacement per original purchase. Clearly, from other reviews, this is an unusually (I hope...) inferior product that they put their brand on. Very surprised at the lack of standing behind their product. I asked if there was the option to have a different product in lieu, since clearly these are not well made, but that was not granted.
Don't waste your money.

Not substainable, breaks easily, touch pad uneffec

I have bought the gloves 5 weeks ago, use as a liner inside my ski gloves on cold days.
Off the bat the touchpad weren't working well. Texting with them would always end up removing the glove. after 2 weeks, holes has started forming around the tip of a couple fingers. here i am, 5 weeks in with 5 holes and 3 fingers peaking through the fabric. I wouldn't recommend as you would expect a glove to last more than 2 weeks, especially a 50$ glove....

They Are Liners

A number of reviews have been critical of the gloves durability. I use them as liners under mittens and they are excellent - close fitting, warm, good sense of touch and well made. The cuffs are long which helps keep out the cold.

Needs frequent mending

I’m a fan of Arc’teryx products, but not these gloves. They frequently develop holes that need mending. The first two holes that developed, I let the company know and they sent me a new pair of gloves . I stitched the holes in the old pair, and still use them occasionally but unfortunately both the old and the new pair still get frequent holes with minimal use . I am using them as a liner underneath my thicker ski mitts. As I write this I am about to repair three more holes, and my wife suggested writing a review. I would not recommend this product unless you don’t mind making frequent repairs

Disappointing

I chose this glove for its XS fit, which is excellent. However, like others who have reviewed, I'm very disappointed in the durability of these gloves. Though I haven't experienced tearing, two of the digital finger pads have now come off and the other two are peeling, and this with light and careful use. Very disappointing!

Just adding that a few months after leaving this review, my gloves did indeed develop holes in three fingertips. Avoid this substandard Arcteryx product!

Delicate fabric rips easily

I used them as a liner glove inside mitts. On first use, they ripped at two of the finger tips and the stitching at one of the seams unraveled. I mended them, but the same thing happened on second use. The e-fingertips aren’t compatible with my device. I’m impressed with my extensive collection of Arc’teryx outerwear, clothing, and packs, but the quality of these gloves isn’t consistent with the Arc’teryx brand.

Unfortunately disappointed in these gloves. Worn three times and have already had to stitch up twice - no resiliency and easy to tear. The touch screen capability is nonexistent for me. They offer very little warmth as a stand-alone. I love this brand and will remain loyal, just steer away from this product.

Warmest slimline gloves

Of all the low volume gloves and thin liners, I like these the most. I wear them to walk the dog on brisk days and in various ski gloves or mitts. They really do have an isolation factor and wick pretty well. Heading into my third season with them and are holding up fine except for the touch sensitive material for the phone. When are the manufactures going to realize that these just aren't effective and put a button hole slit in the index fingers?

Fits great and lightweight

I found one of these on a trail and it fit so well that I purchased a pair a year ago. I have worn them hiking, cycling and even some minor scrambling. Good for cool not cold temperatures or they can fit well under more bulky gloves. I find it difficult to find gloves that fit so well, normally fingers are too long and droop. The only sign of wear is the digital finger tips are peeling off. No concerns for me, I'm happy to put my phone away and enjoy being outdoors.

J’ai acheté ce cadeau pour faire un cadeau à ma copine et je suis très déçu… Je déconseille fortement. Les gants ne valent clairement pas le prix affiché. La qualité est médiocre et ils sont super minces. Je doute qu’elle puisse passer un hiver “urbain” avec ces gants urbains.

I bought these in December last year and they were warm and well-fitted. They did not last long. Used them on average once a week. The pads on the fingers came/wore off in the first month of use. By February this year, there were holes in the fingers. So disappointed with the product and would not recommend due to their durability.

Acheté comme gants urbains en automne/printemps. Ils réchauffent lors des journées/soirées plus froides 10°C à -5°C mais aussitôt qu'il y a beaucoup de vent, ils perdent leur chaleur.

J'ai reçu cette soirée de gant en cadeau pour Noël et en janvier , c'était déjà dans un état lamentable. Les coussinets pour les écrans tactiles décollent facilement et deviennent gênant au point que j'ai dû les enlever. De toute manière ils n'étaient pas si pratique que ça , c'était plutôt difficile de naviguer avec ces coussinets.
Le matériel de ces gants s'accrochait toujours dans les velcros au point où tout mes bouts de doigts étaient percés.
Pour ce qui est de la chaleur , j'aurais apprécié un peu plus de transparence de la part d'arcterix. À utiliser pour les matins frisquets 10° et plus et j'ai essayé d'en faire une doublure pour des gants Venta ( pas compatible si les deux paires de gants sont de médium , doit avoir des Venta larges) et ça n'a pas été un succès.
Bref , cette paire de gants s'est retrouvée dans les poubelles après deux mois d'utilisation.

Excellent Glove LINER

I bought these as glove liners, and they are excellent for that purpose. I removed the outside glove only if I need to do something requiring more tactile control, like answering a mobile phone. I don't wear these alone as gloves, because they are LINERS. They trap air so my fingers stay warm inside gloves. They are too delicate for daily use as gloves, but are excellent LINERS.

Cannot fault these gloves. Great to keep in my jacket when the weather drops. Ok the phone pad could be put on better but I did not buy these to be on my phone while walking.
