Awesome approach shoe

I’ve had these shoes for about a month and k really like them for my use. I use them as an approach shoe and not a running shoe. They are very stable as an approach shoe and I don’t have the same issue of rolling ankles that I had with my trail runners. If you’re buying this as a trail runner shoe it might not be cushioned enough but as an approach shoe it’s great. The comfort is pretty good and I find that the toe box is pretty big on this shoe. The only issue with this shoe that I’ve found is the sizing is very off. I sized down quite a bit from my street shoe size to get something that fit properly. Make sure to try these on before purchasing.

Good Shoe!!

These shoes are made of great materials! Very sturdy design and very comfortable for their designed purpose. My only complaint would be that the softer foam under the heel flattens out very fast after a few runs and the toe box feels a little large for their designed purpose size of shoe I wear. But all things considered this is a solid shoe.

Hurts everywhere and sizing issues

This shoe is overall not recommended. Right from the start, sizing is difficult to determine. Had to buy 3 different sizes to figure out that sizing down 1/2 size is best for me. The overall process to find the right size took about a week and half, not to mention having $380 on hold for some time.
Once sizing was okay, I cut the tag off and went on a 2 mile walk. The shoe creates a hard pressure point at the top of the ball of your feet. I tried adjusting the tightness and shifting thing around but it was still there and leaves your feet aching at the end. The midsole digs into your arch. Overall, my feet were begging to take the shoes off at the end of a short walk. I can't imagine running in these on trails/climbs. I love the brand and wanted to be the first to trust the new shoe would be revolutionary, but it has disappointed. The worst part is not being able to return these even though they are only slightly used. Do not buy if you want to lose $190. I recommend going to an established brand like Hoka.

Pressure point

Sadly can't wear these. Apparently for higher volume feet. When I tightened the laces enough, there was too much material under the laces and it had to be folded over, making it a pressure point at the top of my foot. Also think the firmer midsole under the forefoot is misguided. I'd rather have cushion under foot when running down the trail and they'll scramble just fine without a firmer front.

I thought I sized down. size 8 uk 8.5us for men is not a 42. normally wear size 9us. I'm gonna size down to 41/41,5. not sized like the sylan
