My New Favorite Pants

Absolutely LOVE these pants! So comfortable and breathable. I wish there was an adjustable cuff since I'm on the shorter side, but would just be a "nice to have" since they're not too long to wear without, even on my 5'2" frame. Women's sizing tends to fluctuate with each product/year but I am around 165 and a size 10 was comfortably roomy without being too baggy. Getting more colors for sure!

Comfy, practical with deep front pockets. A 3/4 style version in bold colours would be a hit for summer; all year round really.

Fit is not my normal size

I ordered these in 8R and they are swimming on me and now they are out of the 6R, so frustrating. I find the sizing of these products very strange, and it makes so much back and forth shipping to try and get correct size, not living near any store. I also just bought their new 9 inch short in a 6 and it is so small can't even get it buttoned, so need an 8 in those. Hard to figure this company out but overall I think they make it too hard on customers to ship (out of so many colors and sizes you want) and hard to find a good fit, for the price I would think they could do better overall as a company.

JUST BUY IT

I’m obsessed with these pants! I originally bought them just for lounging/short hikes. I tried on the Gamma originally but didn’t like how it fit, I returned them and went with these instead—best decision ever. I’m a skinny queen (23-24” waist) who loves baggy clothes, and these have the perfect relaxed fit while still looking super flattering. They sit just right on the waist, and somehow, they make my butt look amazing too! The four-way stretch makes them ridiculously comfy for both chilling and being active. If you’re looking for lightweight, stretchy lounge pants that also work great for summer hikes, these are it. The high-rise waist doesn’t dig in, and the elastic waistband with the adjuster makes them easy to customize. Plus, they move so well with you, whether you’re climbing, hiking, or just running errands. Highly recommend! It does make swishy sound like someone else mentioned but nothing crazy.

Great Casual Pant

Although I do not climb, I bought these pants to wear casually as anything with a waistband and no zipper/button gets a thumbs up from me. I bought my usual size (size 8, short) as I'm 5'2" and the length is perfect at the ankle. The waist sits at my belly button and there is an optional waistband cincher. There's a moment of panic when you are putting on the pants and they require a bit of a wiggle to get over your thighs/butt/hips but once they're up there all is good. The fit of these pants is very casual but not as loose/baggy as the Clarkia in the same size. I could have gotten away with sizing up to a 10 in these pants to be a bit looser at the waist, but definitely couldn't size down. The fabric feels really durable and is a thick cotton that feels a bit canvas-y (whilst remaining relatively lightweight), it makes a swish when you walk but not as aggressive as other Arc'teryx pants. If a short hike or yoga class was thrown your way, you could do it in these pants - dropping into a low squat or lunge is not problem. I wouldn't buy these exclusively to hike in as they're cotton. Overall, I see these getting some good use in the spring/summer/fall as they're casual and comfy.

Absolutely love the fit of these pants. Finally Arc'teryx isn't make stuff that is too small for athletic bodies!
Love the elastic, pull-on waist of these pants. Would definitely call them a true regular fit through the leg, not too wide and not too fitted.
Love the stretchy cotton material, I will be wearing these all the time!
Please make more women's pants in this material !!
