comfortable and breathable with GTX

I bought this at the store in Denver 2 months ago while traveling to the yellow stone. actually the most frustrated part is that I had been waiting for the black one for 11 months and it had been always out of stock (with or without GTX), and finally I gave up, I can't understand why no re-stock for black ones, anyway I bought the one with Shark/Void color. I had a little concern about breathability for this pair of shoes at the beginning although GTX is so-called 'breathable' . with one weeks of hiking in Yellow stone and Grand Tetons, it goes really well, comfortable, supportable and not too moisture. my feet are wide and this pairs of shoes fit well

Love this shoe!

I got these shoes for trail hiking, and they have been fantastic. Super lightweight, fashionable, and durable. The Gore-Tex keeps stuff out, from water to sand and everything in between. The only drawback is that this leads to a lack of breathability, but that's not a big deal to me at all. Excited to continue wearing these shoes for years to come!

Perfection

I recently purchased the Norvan LD 3 GTX in 'void' color and have worn them multiple times for city walks and hiking. These shoes excel in comfort; they are probably the most comfortable sport shoes I've ever owned. They are perfect for wide feet, and not surprisingly, my fasciitis has improved. Compared to the Aerios GTX, the Norvan LD 3 GTX are more flexible and provide greater cushioning. If you have any knee conditions, these shoes are fantastic.

Quality

Love the high level of quality, very lightweight. I have neuropathy really bad in my feet, and coupled with having to stand for 8 hours at my job, they are a game changer for me. I have to use special orthotic insoles, so I ordered a size up, and inserted them and I’m no longer in pain. Thank you

Okay but definitely not wow

Firm and average performance and all depends on your needs. Great performance on a muddy/slushy trail with a decent grip but firm ride. Very very firm once you hit tarmac(ish) surface. Originally purchased for my winter street runs but because of the firmness, will have to keep as a trail shoe only. Midsole is not very responsive. Also not sure about the LD because of the above. Laces will become undone fast so have to tuck them into the tongue pocket, and too long also. Fits bigger .5 size. I had v2 and not much changed. If you’re looking for a cushioned shoe-look somewhere else.

Amazing Durability and Comfort

Extremely pleased with the quality and durability of this shoe! Wore it for 8 hours 5 days a week throughout the entire summer while hiking and running in an outdoor environment (which was grassy, rugged, wet, gravelly, etc.) and they performed and held up beautifully. I also ran a race in these and they performed amazingly. The Gore has lasted much longer than I thought and is so breathable!

Outstanding cold weather shoe

This is an outstanding pair of shoes. I’ve been running in a pair of these for over a year now, ranging from training runs around the neighborhood to 10k - 50k runs here in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. In terms of performance, these have become by go-to pair of shoes for colder, wet conditions that are muddy, slushy, or have snow up to six inches. My best day in these shoes was running a marathon over 20 miles of snow. They were soaked by the end, but my feet were warm and the fit was so good for me I never got a single blister. I have 200 miles on them now and they’re still in really good condition. Couldn’t ask for more. Small details. The lace garage is excellent, and the flat laces are so much more comfortable and easy to adjust than the Salomon system. I did have to replace the insole to get the right amount of arch support.

Obsessed!!

I got my first pair of these in Spring 2021 and have owned 4 pairs since! I love the cushion on these shoes - so great for long distances runs, walks, or standing on your feet all day. This shoe has become my 'do everything shoe' from trail runs, to my walking commute, to my work shoe. The shoe tends to run wide but this works really well for me. Can't say enough praise for these!

Solid shoes, but I have a few grips

Great shoes which meet Arc's standard of high quality. I was fairly satisfied with the waterproofness and comfort. This is my second pair and my experience with both is similar. A few gripes - the laces do not stay tied unless you double knot them, my feet got very warm in them especially on sunny days, overall build robustness could use improvement - I wore both my shoes for under a year under moderate us and didn't hold up as well as I would have hoped. See picture where the tongue separated from the base of the shoe 6 months in. This will be my last pair of these, but they were good while I had them. I used them for everyday use, hiking, and running.

Reliable, Comfortable & Durable

I bought these shoes earlier this year after previously owning the Norvan LD 2’s for about a year and a half. I’m a frequent runner and these shoes are not just comfortable but also durable and extremely supportive for me and my footstep placement. Whether out on a trial, asphalt track or pavement roads— these shoes will do their part, short and long distance. Thanks Arc’teryx.
