Hallo und danke für deine Frage zum Kyanite Hoody. Der Kyanite Hoody ist nicht wasserdicht. Er ist als vielseitiger, wärmender Midlayer konzipiert und eignet sich ideal zum Wandern, Klettern oder für den Alltag. Durch das weiche, dehnbare Material trägt er sich angenehm. Der Kyanite Hoody bietet einen gewissen Wetterschutz, ist aber nicht wasserdicht und hält dich bei längerem oder stärkerem Regen nicht trocken. Wenn du eine wasserdichte Jacke suchst, empfehlen wir dir unsere Hardshells aus GORE-TEX. Que  diferencia de largura hay de la talla s a la talla m?

Hola Mikel. La Kyanite Hoody tiene una medida de largo de 64.5cm en talla S y de 67cm en talla M.

I have the same model but 03/22 size M, usually I’m not a size M I see the fitting has changed should I get a smaller size?

Hi Santiago, our men's fit has recently been updated, but the medium size has remained unchanged. We recommend sticking with your usual size.

Has there been any change in this, either with the zipper or the fit,  compared to the 08/23 model?

Hi there. While the Kyanite Hoody features a new fabric made with recycled content, with most fabrics, pilling is normal during the lifespan of the material. It is common for products to experience pilling after many times through the washing machine or when frequently exposed to friction. The good news is that pilling does not affect the product’s functionality or durability in any way. Question 8

Hi, would this work as an uphill touring layer in the warmest winter days?  What would be the difference between this jacket and the Gamma hoody or the Gamma MX?  Thanks

Hello Matt, thanks for your question. The Kyanite Hoody is designed to be a warm mid-layer fleece that could be used as an outer layer during dry days while uphill touring. Our Gamma line, on the other hand, is designed to be worn as outer layers and feature a softshell fabric. Question 10

The body length looks too short for climbing. It looks like if you were reaching up that the body would come up too high leaving you cold and uncomfortable. Is it not designed for climbing?

Hello there. The Kyanite Hoody is designed as a versatile all-round hoody that can be worn as a light insulating layer in any multitude of activities. The Kyanite Hoody is designed to have some added length for coverage when the user is moving around, but not so much that there is excess material that will bunch up when wearing during static phases or when not reaching upwards.
