Veilance's Magnum Opus

If there were such a thing as Michellin stars for clothing items, I would give all three to the Field Softshell Jacket. It by far has the most mileage of any jacket in my wardrobe, but still looks like it's right off the rack. One of my very first Veilance purchases from 3 years ago, and this thing starts up in the morning ready for a drive. It is part of my daily work uniform; paired with black Corbel pants and a formal leather shoe, it can take on the world. It cannot get more simple than that. It's beauty lies in its simplicity, uniformity, laziness, and timelessness. People and clients still ask me where I got it and for how long I've had it. They are impressed every time. I tell them that the day it delaminates, will be a day of great sadness. But until that day, I will continue to enjoy, love, cry, laugh, yap, and experience life in my black Field Softshell Jacket. It is worth every dollar. - JA

Stylish protection

I've taken this jacket on trips to Ireland and the UK. It's braved rain and snow and functioned perfectly. Clean lines make it perfect for urban wear when you don't want to look like you just left the hiking trail. Appreciate the number of pockets. Highly recommended.

Such a weird sizing.

I have been purchasing Veilance for years now, totaling over 20 pieces altogether, but starting with the outside branding on the back of the neck panel, Veilance has been going on a pretty questionable direction. This season, the revised patterns have been extremely weird and proportionally horrid, especially in the length of the sleeves and trouser legs compared to the measurements of the other areas of the body per size. Why is Veilance designing clothes for gorillas now? More seriously, why can't the sleeves be of a normal length for once? 70cm sleeves for a SIZE SMALL is just absolutely bonkers. Blows my mind to bits. Returned.
