Covert Cardigan Dame

I needed one jacket for a month in South America, so I bought this jacket as my husband has lived in his for 2 years. To my surprise the on line order fit perfectly. Also the color is not solid black but exactly the charcoal mix with black to be versatile enough to work with my hiking and evening clothes. I look dreadful in solid black. The first night after 24 hours of flying I was run down and slept in the jacket as the hotel was chilly. Voila it still looked fresh and is now on week 2 of an adventure. I am new to this product and company, my tried and true Patagonia has met its match.

Purchased this as a layer piece for hiking and for just wearing about town. The colour is a pictured and I love the quality and craftsmanship. I haven’t experienced pilling on this sweater yet after a few months.

I so wanted to LOVE this jacket. After everything I read and from the look of it in the photos, I was so looking forward! I should have taken to heart the comments of those who said they had experienced pilling. I am someone who takes impeccable care of things. Having only washed this on delicate cold water cycle and hung to dry, I was terribly disappointed when it began pilling (all up and down inside of the arms as well as the sides, torso). It began only after a few wearings. And I have not had the jacket for even three months.

I always buy from arcteryx as I know the quality and comfort is perfect. I have many pieces I have been wearing for years and I still wear them. The new fleece style is a little longer than previous years. I like this new feature. I still use my other ones for golf on cool mornings. They work well for golf and can remove them as the day warms. It is also good for layering with my gore tex jackets I have from Arcteryx

Pour référence je mesure 5.5 pieds 130 livres et la grandeur small est parfaite si vous n’etes pas trop forte des épaules

Ce chandail est maintenant ma seconde peau. Le tissus est parfait, la coupe est ajustée. Parfait pour la ville, le sport et pour les dimanches de relaxation. Je suis 5’9’’ et 130 lbs et small est parfait!

Got the Black Sapphire (dark blue) and love the color. Knew I would love it because I bought a grey one two years ago and the fit is much better than any other brand fleece I have. It is a little more form fitting than the other brands. I also wear under a vest and it is less bulky. I am average build.

I loved the covert hoody so much, I have recently gotten this one as well. These fleece jackets are so well made and comfortable that I wear them almost everyday now. I have them in black sapphire and athena grey; beautiful colors! The zippers are stylish.

Great jacket for a reasonable price. Good for a mid-layer under another coat during the winter months. Highly recommend.

I am tall and a bit thin but need size medium for my shoulders and this jacket is trim through the body and fits perfectly. I wear this constantly. Thank you Arcteryx!

Best warm jacket for all uses. Home, city, outdoors. Great as a mid-layer. Very stylish.

This cardigan has been my best friend for a couple of years. I have had the black one for 2 years, and I am back to buy the Mica one. I use this cardigan for so many things, from daily life, walks around town and hikes, to mid-layer under my ski clothes. In fact, I initially purchased the cardigan to complement my skiing gear, but it has since become a basic in my wardrobe. The cardigan is definitely mid-weight. It provides cozy warmth without suffocating. It hugs the body, with some extra room in case you want to add layers underneath. The length is perfect, hitting above the hips, so it does not look awkward. I am 5.2, 103 pounds, and wear a XS (for reference). I am an 85A on my bust, and I have to say there i still room left in that area, so I am sure it allows for bigger sizes.

A male friend had a Covert Cardigan that looked so good I wanted one. I couldn't figure out what I was looking for so I called customer service and described it and voila the rep knew exactly the style. The jacket is a slim fit. It is soft next to the skin but substantial like a warm blanket. Not a fleece, more like a boiled wool weight, but not scratchy like wool can be. I love my jacket. I bought the Nightshadow, which is a cadet blue. I'd love it in a khaki or olive green (it comes in that color in the men's version.)

I bought this jacket while visiting my sister in BC, Canada, and I couldn't be more satisfied. I'm a bit of a jacket junkie, and normally a Patagonia loyalist, but I ended up at the Arc'teryx store in Whistler, BC one evening because the Patagonia store had closed early. My sister convinced me to try a few mid-layer jackets on, and I immediately fell in love. The small fit perfectly on my 5'4, 130lb athletic, runner's build. The fleece is a good mid-weight and keeps you very warm as an insulating layer under a ski or hiking jacket without adding much bulk, and works as a standalone light jacket on cooler almost-spring days in the city. One of the biggest things that convinced me was that my sister was wearing this jacket while we were shopping, and it still looked brand new even though she'd had it for nearly 2 years at this point, while I was standing there in my 1-year-old Patagonia fleece that was pilling like crazy under the arms. The length is great, it hits right at my hip, the quality of the fleece is very high; I've worn this jacket at least 3x/week for the past few months of winter in NYC, and the light blue that I got is incredibly vibrant and I get compliments every time I wear it. The only thing that is disappointing to me is that the jacket doesn't come in the Andromeda orange that the hoody does. I'm not big on the hoody deal because I have long and thick hair, and hoods tend to make me feel like my hair is being swept uncomfortably to the side or pushing my neck forward, otherwise--believe me--I would be all over that hoody. Orange is my favorite color and I wish I could get this in orange, but I guess beautiful blue will have to do.
