Why did you change it?

Got this harness since the other one is no longer available. Unfortunately, the waist gives me hot spots, the belay loop where it connects to the leg loops has loose threads and each leg loop came untied. Easy fix on the leg loops, just tied double knots. Added a little spice to the exposed chimney I was in when it came untied. Also happened while rapping. Yikes!
Not sure what to do about the hot spots from the waist. Seems like the material is rougher now instead of the old waist. The loose threads are disconcerting. Might be a manufacturing defect??
Gear loops are great!
Size is perfect.

Light and comfy!

I've used this harness for gym, sport, and multi pitch trad. It's super light and the leg loops don't have adjustments besides elastic, which I prefer (fewer dangly straps). As a skier/lifter with large thighs, the leg loops are fitted, so works for my climbing pant, but wouldn't work as well with multiple leg layers (I got a small and, for reference, I'm 5'6" and ~140 lb.) I love the gear loops -- they fit a full trad rack plus everything I need for a day of multi-pitch.
