Works! with a catch...

It definitely works well, especially after a cycle in the dryer, but it will stain your jacket. No problems when I treated my yellow/orange coloured Beta LT from 2021. But unfortunately it stained my brand new Beta AR (Phantasm/Interstellar) I just got a few months ago. Not the most noticeable because it happened on the darker Phantasm area, but what's more concerning is it appears to have bled through the fabric somehow as there are dark speckled areas on the inside of the jacket now (underneath the stains)

Effective but with a flaw

Does it work? Yes. on shoes and clothing.
Does it darken fabric? Yes, for lighter color fabric.
I never noticed the issue with dark/navy blue and black until I tried it on the grey ski jacket. Hoping they will modify the formula to fix the issue

Things to be aware of but happy with the results

Was worried at first but overall solid product. Treated my gore-tex jacket following a wash with the Nu detergent. It definitely darkened the color of my jacket and it is important to get complete coverage or the will be some spotting due to the color change. My jacket had a bit of a waxy feel and smelled mildly like vinegar for about a week of wear but that has faded. Color looks good now and the waterproofing of my jacket is much improved .

wish it worked for me

I followed the Arc'teryx video tutorial for applying Nu Durable Water Repellent, which was helpful. However, on some garments, the repellent permanently darkened the fabric, which was disappointing—one of my favorite pieces ended up ruined. As for performance, I'm still unsure how well it actually works. It didn’t seem to work on my rain jacket, but maybe the rain was just too heavy.

I expected it would be good from Arc’teryx, my coat even got a “wow” after the technical wash & then the Nu water repellent.
