Kyanite Hoody Women's

We went to store and found this gem, but unfortunately they don't have size XXS (it's quite normal they don't have it in store), so we went online and purchased one, the overall quality is still superb as usual, looks sleek and perfect to be a middle layer.

Great fleece layering piece. Very warm and love the unique stretch the product has. Hood is perfect for under a helmet.

Fantastic product, worth every penny. Soft on the inside. Just a single layer of fleece but so warm. I layer it with a smart wool sweater for 40s windy weather. The hood is so lightweight you don't feel it when you're not wearing it.. beautifully fitted. Love love love it.

I have been buying a Kyanite Hoody every year for 4 years, wear them lots, and the first one looks just as good as my latest purchase. I use as a jacket on cool days and as a middle layer on cold days, it is so comfy and stretchy, washes well, cannot say enough about this hoody. It was slightly enhanced a year ago, even better.

I ordered the Kyanite Hoodie in the light pink. First off, the hoodie itself is outstanding (like so many of Arcteryx products). It has an excellent and flattering cut which has room to layer underneath, room to layer on top, is long enough, and has that Arcteryx quality of being warm but never overheats you - in other words, it felt great on. I also appreciate that Arcteryx is innovative in terms of colors. That is one of the elements that makes Arcteryx different and interesting. All that being said, the light pink was lighter than what appeared in the photos. Anything that looks like it might be part of a pajama set is unfortunately automatically out. I next tried the Ediza color which looks to be a subdued gold on line. In person the color is a very bright yellow orange - in other words, too bright for me. The one blue has been around for awhile and is sold out. The beautiful new green for fall 2023 is made in the jacket version but not the hoodie. I will not get a color if I already have a garment in that color. That rules our Fika. So, am currently at a bit on an impass about which color to get. Based on comfort, fit, and appearing to be very well made, can recommend. (But obviously I cannot say how well it wears). I am 5’ 6” weigh about 145, and the Med was perfect.

I have a couple Kyanite fleeces, one of which I bought last winter. In comparison my new one is far lighter, not as warm, and has terrible inside pockets The one I just recieved was more like the kyanite light that I bought last summer.

Love my Kyanite so much that I wanted another one. Unfortunately, Arc’teryx has revised the fit and it’s now short in the arms and boxy and short in the body. The material is nice and the fleece is soft, but the fit just isn’t right for layering. Had to return it. If the old fit ever comes back, I’ll be buying multiple.

I own a number of Kyanite hoodies. This hoody is as light of not even lighter than the light Kyanite - even so that you can practically see through the fabric especially towards the bottom. The Kyanite has become progressively thinner from a few years back. I would recommend for early fall/spring and should be good with this one - and have to say I do love the color. If it were not for the color it may have been going back.

I loved this hoodie from the moment I put it on, great fit, super comfy, perfect amount of warmth and much stretchier than a competing brand’s popular fleece, but unfortunately after only a couple of months it was so pilled, it no longer looks very good. I only wear it around the house now.

I love this hoody. It is my go to sweater for running around the city or as a layering piece for hiking or lounging at camp. I used this as my travel sweater and in the mountains for added warmth. I love the high collar aspect so if it gets cold it will cover up to my chin. It's a fabulous layering piece under a wind or rain layer and very breathable.

I bought this jacket two months, I was happy with it. But I found there is a spot showing scratched damage.

I bought the Moonlit color from a partner site (love that color). I am a solid size Small in Arcteryx, always! I have owned 3 of the Kyanite hoodies already and this new version is a disappointment! I had to compare the fabric with my old version and it is much thinner! It is also loose on me! And the old version is body-hugging which I love! Also, why did you move the logo to the sleeve?? It looked so nice on the front!! I am sad, I want the old version back :(.

Fit great! Love color! Luxurious feel. In short, I lover it!

I love this hoody and wear it for everything. It is a rich chocolate brown with lighter chocolate colored contrast on the trim. I have looked at and owned many brands of hoodies and this is the only one that stays in the rotation and comes on every trip.

True to size, super comfy and warm. My new favorite mid-layer!

Bought this for my adult daughter because she is petite and always cold. She loves it and says it is warm and soft against the skin. She says it is the perfect warmth without the extra weight. She has an Arc'teryx shell to put over it should the nippy wind pick up.

According to the sizing chart I needed to order a large. I’m 165 lbs, size 36B bra, size medium in most tops. Size large tops in Patagonia. It fits large. A large is fine if I want to use it as a oversized jacket. For layering a shell over a medium is a better fit with still enough room for under layers. It’s very stretchy. I’m using for a spring skiing layer under a shell and a medium is a much better fit.

I have this hoody from a few years ago and love the fabric and fit and have gotten a lot of use out of it. This new revised version the fabric is thinner so I’m assuming not as warm. The older version the medium fit awesome thru the shoulders, chest and waist. The revised jacket the medium is too big under the arms, across the chest and along the hem by several inches each area. I then ordered a small which was too tight. 5’4” 126 lbs, average build. Not sure who they are designing these revised versions for. This is now the third try at replacing an older, much loved and used jacket with a new one that had to be returned due to fit issues.

I bought this to replace my 2015 version that was eaten by my dryer. I was going to just use my Atom instead of replacing it but the hood and fit of this just can't be beat for back county skiing. I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews about pilling and durability but my new one is just like my old one. Pretty much perfect for my use. I love the hood; it is small enough to tuck into my shell hood to stay dry, thin enough to fit under my helmet, and snug enough to keep out wind. This thing has the best warmth to weight ratio of anything I own and hands down is the most breathable. I don't care if it pills, but it hasn't. I also don't care much about the pockets because it's a mid layer but bigger pockets on all Arc’teryx would be an improvement. I wanted a trim fit so I got medium. I'm 5'3" kinda busty and 145 pounds. Best 200 bucks you'll spend for a performance mid layer.
