Best running pants

These pants are perfectly lightweight and breathable for an indoor workout; they block the wind enough for the outdoor run, and when it hits -30 celcius, they're roomy enough to wear a base layer underneath and keep warm. I wear 32-30 pants, the mediums fit like a dream.

Great Cool Weather Pant -

I run a lot in the wet and cool weather. What i've found that works for me is that when its rainy wet I want a running tight (or at least a pant that is tight on my caves) and when its cool or even light snow, more of a fitted running pant. These work fantastic in cool, windy and slightly moist weather. I love them for that. When it starts raining they are good for a while, in continued rain the problem is the loose caves area tends to get moist. Some rain is fine, heavy rain not so much. Where these really excel is cool, windy, foggy and even snowy runs. Fit is fantastic. I am 5'9" 155 and choose small. fits like a tailored track pant. thank you for not adding zippers at ankles.....just ads weight. I disagree with some of the other reviewers as i am so glad no front pockets. I generally find front pockets useless when running hard.

I agree that front pockets are not good for keeping things while running, which is why there are running belts, packs, and Garmin watches. The point of adding pockets would be that the pants would be far more versatile if they had pockets. Side trips to the store, running errands, etc. Adding pockets would not diminish performance, but would increase the usefulness of the pants. These would make great all-around pants with pockets like the Aptin shorts.

excellent pants for cool / changing weather runs

I was looking for a pair of trousers to put on during night runs and long races that would not get you to sweat and would protect from cold & light wind. This is it! Really a great product for those running in the mountains and need a product that can go from sunny south face to icy north face and still keep you comfortable. Only slight negative, the lower leg/calf could be a bit more fitted to avoid rubbing.
