Cormac Crew Neck Shirt SS Men's

I have been a fan of Arc'teryx for years with well over 100 different arc'teryx garments. For the past 10 years the quality seems to worsen and worsen every year, and this Cormac SS is the latest victim. I have 15 of previous generations Cormac tees, and they were all great to acceptable. This last version is abysmal, the fit is awkward as heck. Tight on the arms and loose in the the torso. The reflective strips are gone. Very disappointed...

Echoing other reviewers. Each iteration of this shirt has gotten worse. The older ones that had the reflective portion on the arm hold up better than the new ones. Ridiculously poor quality for a 70$ shirt, getting rid of the actual black color was another poor choice.

Loved the 7 previous generations I’ve purchased but this new generation isn’t great. It’s light, but the material feels cheep and snags easily. When you get sweaty it sticks. Not a fan. Bring back the old model.

Own multiple phase SL and cormacs from previous years. The fit on this "revised" edition, is like a giant sail. Now reading the other reviews below, i'm not the only one who feels this way. Unfortunately this is really the only option when it comes to high output synthetic short sleeves that aren't merino. Who is coming up with these designs ... horrible. Better off trying to find old stock of the previous versions ...

I like these shirts. I like the ones with the 1/4 zip even more. Please bring those back for spring 2024. They are like the best gym and trail running shirts I’ve ever used. You wouldn’t think it but even a 1/4 zip DUMPS heat when you’re 6 miles into a 10 mile trail run. Or on your last set of 200 lunges.

The new version is horrible!!! The old version of the format shirt was perfect, for well, good fabric. The old version was my absolute favorite shirt and I have probably 10 of them. The new version is nothing like the old version. The new version is baggy, sleeves way too long, poor material and looks frumpy. I can’t wear the new version it’s so horrible. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!!!!

I bought a couple of the revised shirts for my husband who has been wearing the previous versions for years and loved them. He was massively disappointed by this revised model. The cut and quality has taken a massive nosedive. Whereas before the previous shirts offered great articulation and looked good on him, these ones are baggy, poorly fitting and look awful. The sleeves are too long, the neckline is all wrong, and they just look xxxxx! It seems once again Arc’teryx is abandoning its core market and instead catering for overweight out of shape individuals, as I guess there’s more of them about to make money from selling this tat to. Please bring back the older version.

It seems like a lot of people don't seem to like the new revision of the Cormac. I however like it more than previous versions. I have several of the previous iterations of the Cormac and I like the fit of this one the best. Maybe just my body shape. 6', 175lbs, not huge in the muscles. I run and climb a lot so not skinny but also not jacked in any way, despite desperately flexing in front of the bathroom mirror trying to convince my self otherwise. If you can try it before you buy it. For me it does fit looser across the chest where the previous was a bit snug. I don't feel like the sleeves are overly long. The body is definitely longer than some which I like as I can raise my hands above my head when bouldering and not have to worry about my underwear line broadcasting to the world/gym. It also tucks well for cold weather adventures.

Let me start by saying that I have been a long time customer of the Cormac line. I have purchased many revisions of this shirt over the past five years and this by far has been the worst. I do not know how you can deviate so drastically from the previous revision to this one. The last revision had great material and fit. The length, sleeves and chest were perfect. This revision is boxy, the sleeves are long and baggy, and the neck line is terrible. I hate to return it because I need new shirts and love these colors but the new fit just won't do.

Feels so cheap the material is not good atall such a downgrade from last years version won’t be buying any of these material ones !

6'4, 160. Medium fits prefect. Good length, no bind across the back of my shoulders, sleeves just right. Nice color selection too.

Fits well, the sleeves are longer than any other short sleeve i own but I kind of like it! The pink color is rad too

Having read the reviews and happy owner of 4 of these T-shirts I went to Piccadilly store to try the revised version on and buy some new colours . Unfortunately it is bigger fit and very dodgy neckline. A real shame.it may well suit a gym goer who has larger neck but not so much regular physique. Maybe revise the revision next year ?

Old Cormac was so much better. This one has horrible cut and cheaper material.

Extremely lightweight and breathable, superior product to other drifiit like shirts!

This shirt is comfortable and breathable. Unfortunately the cut is extremely large and not well fitted, which is strange compared to my other Arc gear. Also, the logo came off after the first wash, despite following the instructions precisely. Definitely not worth the extra cost compared to options from similar brands.

I bought this primarily for fast-paced hiking and jogging and have to say this is the most comfortable and breathable performance t-shirt that I own. I am a heavy sweater and it is critical for me to wear a t-shirt that dries quickly or else i will be drenched in sweat especially with a backpack on. This t-shirt is a savior from that aspect while still looking good. It is relaxed to allow air flow and does not restrict movement. I also appreciate that i has a matte, non-shiny look which makes it look different from other t-shirts i own. The main downside is that compared to last year’s model, the one from this year has a much lower neckline which makes it look too casual/sloppy. I would suggest to bring back the design from last year to keep it looking sharp.

I love this shirt so much that I own at least 5 different colors. This is by-far the most comfortable shirt I've ever owned. It wicks moisture without drying your skin out. I get itchy when I start sweating but I've never felt that way in this shirt. It's loose and allows full freedom of motion while being trim enough to be versatile for all activities. This is one of the best products in Arcteryx and would encourage anyone to try it.

My son and I own several of these in a prior version and regard them as, by far, our favorite shirts for running, working out, and even just hanging out. When I ordered some new ones for my son, I saw online they were missing the reflective stripe on the sleeve, so I knew they were a new version, but I didn’t see these reviews and didn’t realize the fit had changed. We are extremely disappointed with the ones we received. Can’t imagine why Arc’teryx would change such a wonderful product, and so much for the worse. The other reviews have it right: a shirt that fit beautifully now fits poorly, with ridiculously long sleeves. (The sleeves on the size L I ordered for my son are much, much longer than the ones on my XLs in the prior version.) And why eliminate the very useful reflective stripe? I had planned to buy several more for me and my son. We are returning the ones we ordered. So disappointing to lose this great shirt. We own lots of Arc’teryx clothing that we have bought over the past 20 years and have loved all of it. Our bias had been, when looking for something new, to automatically favor the Arc’teryx product. This unforced error by the Arc’teryx design staff has undermined our confidence in them and eliminated that presumption for us.

Be aware fit has changed and not for the better. Arcteryx normally has a great fit but these are wired. Value is also extremely borderline.

I am really disappointed with Arcteryx/Veliance lately. Used to be a nice athletic cut and consistent sizes year to year. Now everything has gone from athletic cut to baggy. Cormac was a great shirt and now it is baggy in my go to size and sleeves go down to my elbow. Why is Arcteryx changing what made them great. Stay consistent in sizes and fit. I am a long time Arcteryx advocate and you are losing me.

I own 11 of these shirts in various colorways, sleeve length, and cuts. The previous version was my all time favorite shirt. I wear them constantly for working out, work, and travel. Simply put, this new version is awful in every way. I will not be buying any more which is truly sad because they were the best. Please bring back the old version.

My wife recently bought the newest Cormac for me as a gift as she knew I loved these shirts. I currently have 4 different colors of the old version with the reflective strip on the sleeves that I've been wearing for the last 4+ years and I wear them for everything active - I mean, everything. From gym sessions to running to international travel to even a triathlon training, these shirts have been through the wringer and still work great like the first day I got them. As a result, when I got the new version from my wife, imagine my surprise and shock when the cut was more boxy and the sleeves nearly went down to my elbow. The material doesn't feel as comfortable as the breathable material of the old version and the sleeve length is ridiculously long for a shirt that's meant for active activities. When I lift at the gym or go for a run, the last I want to feel is the shirt material swooshing around because it's cut too large and the sleeves continually rubbing near my elbow because the length is too long. The old version was cut perfectly where it hugged my body in the right places, the neck rested comfortably and never drooped down, and the sleeves ended in the middle of my biceps. All in all, I am extremely disappointed with the newest Cormac and will not be purchasing any more. It's sad and unfortunate that a product that was truly perfect was changed for the sake of change versus being positively iterated on. If there is any constructive feedback to the team and designers, please bring back the old version and leave it as is. Feel free to add more colors, but when something works well, sells well, and is loved by the customer base, it's best to sometimes leave it alone.

I was really disappointed when I tried this shirt on and the sleeves almost went past my elbow. I almost returned it but was feeling lazy. I’ve worn it out a bit now and the material is OK. I just hate the sleeves; seems like a really stupid design decision. I definitely won’t be buying another one.
