Do Right

The global challenges we face can only be resolved by working together. Do Right is simple. It is our rallying cry to act toward positive change.

As a brand, we commit to taking a stance on our beliefs. Do Right is the phrase we use to call out that challenge. Have we done right by our materials choices? Have we done right by our teams: in our supply chain, our stores and on our design floor? Have we done right by our neighbours, the cities in which we work and in all wild spaces?

We believe that Arc’teryx can be a force for positive change. We create this change not only by improving the practices in our core operations, but by supporting projects and partners that align with our values.

How Does it Work?

Driven by our ethos to Do Right we are making substantial changes to the way we work: funding energy efficiency projects in our supply chain; innovating to deliver products with lower environmental impact; and developing new, less carbon-intense business models such as our Rock Solid used gear program. We stand for the wild. We stand with the planet. Our future is one in which our footprint is smaller, and our impact is positive.

We believe that the people who live in a place are the ones who understand it best. The power of communities to take local action inspires us. We are looking to join forces with like-minded problem-solving organizations and the people who are effecting change.

Our Focus

We see opportunities for innovation all around us. Our instinct is to act––but we’ve found that to be effective, we need to focus. We therefore dedicate our time, energy, and resources to areas where our passion and our expertise intersect, where we can serve as catalysts for the greatest impact.

Our three main areas of focus and support are:

Time Well Spent: Time spent in wild spaces promotes mental wealth and connection to each other and the planet. We support programs that further those aims.

Wild Spaces & Climate: Our environment defines and inspires us. We support programs for conservation, research, and the restoration of ecologically valuable areas.

Diversity & Inclusion: Diversity is the essence of life on our planet, enriching our lives and communities. Programs to help people from all backgrounds and life situations engage in self-propelled activity and connect with the outdoors are prized.

Community Partners

Community Partners

Local communities best understand their needs. Through our global brand stores, we offer the Arc’teryx Community Grant. Leaders of projects or organizations that align with our focus areas of time well spent, wild spaces and climate, diversity and inclusion are encouraged to contact us.

Our stores are committed to gathering their community. Beyond the Arc'teryx Community Grant, our stores offer their space for groups to host events and support fundraisers. Staff are supported to volunteer during work hours. We invite you to contact your local brand store with your problem-solving idea to explore how we might partner.

Global Partnerships

Global Partnerships

Through our stores we can connect with communities and concentrate our efforts on taking important local action. For challenges that are global in scale and require a connected approach as part of their solution, we build strategic partnerships with organizations aligned to our areas of focus. Taking action to tackle climate change is a prime example of this. If you have a relevant project, campaign or idea, let’s chat.

Do Right Days

Do Right Days

Throughout the year, we have dedicated Do Right days where we donate 100 percent of www.arcteryx.com sales proceeds to groups seeking to understand the challenges their communities face, ideate on what might be and act towards solutions.

Memberships

Memberships

Joining forces lends our voice and influence to organizations with shared values. We are active members of The Conservation Alliance and The European Outdoor Conservation Association. Both organizations use membership dues to award grants that protect land for present and future generations.

Each year, we have an opportunity to nominate projects for support. If you have a project that meets the funding criteria for The Conservation Alliance or The European Outdoor Conservation Association grant programs and you require a nomination, please reach out to us.

Product Donations & Sponsorships

Product Donations & Sponsorships

While we strive to provide donation and sponsorship support to as many organizations as possible, we receive many requests every day and are unable to fulfill them all. For that reason, we choose to focus on opportunities that are aligned with our ‘Do Right’ values in the following categories:

Athlete: We are proud of our global community of world class athletes and guides. While there is no formal application process to join our athletic team, we do occasionally provide in-kind donations to exceptional athletes pursuing our core sports.

Film & Photography: We are fortunate to be surrounded by a strong creative community. As such, we usually focus our support on existing partners; however, we are interested in learning about new film partnership opportunities that are aligned with our creative vision.

Media: We are interested in learning more about media partnership opportunities and may offer discounted or in-kind product donations to people or organizations who are telling stories that align with our values.

For athlete, film and photography requests please use the form below and select “Athlete, film or photography request” as the subject. For media requests use the form below and select “Media” as the subject. Please note that due to demand, we are unable to respond to every request.

Fundamentally, Arc'teryx is here for the long-term. By doing right, we are working toward that goal. Join forces with us.
