Guide

As one of the hardest working International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA) mountain guides in Switzerland (and possibly Europe), Peter has a lot of stories, which certainly make those long travel days go by easier. Along with being an IFMGA instructor and examiner, Peter teaches and owns mountain schools Go Vertical, Bergsteigerschule Pontresina and Swiss Avalanche Academy. Known for his prudent mountain sense and gracious character, Peter is a highly respected mountain guide who has a deep joy of life. Besides guiding, Peter does risk mitigation for much of Switzerland's famous, winding, mountainous roads. In the winter Peter spends most of his time in Klosters and in the summer he can be found in Rätikon where he doesn’t just guide humans, but also chaperones a herd of Alpine Braunvieh cows, making sure they stay safe in the mountains.
