Climb

Taylor Swift on the way up, Beyonce on the way down. That's how Bono describes her strategy (and choice of music) on a recent record-setting speed ascent of Denali. Unique tactics aren't the only thing that sets Bono apart in the world of winter sports. Bono is an anomaly in her field for her range. In addition to speed ascents and alpine climbing, she has also sent mixed-climbs up to M13 and competed on the Ice Climbing World Cup. Known for her ability to 'try hard' and endure, Bono credits her love of winter to a Minneapolis upbringing and a collegiate cross-country skiing career. She is currently continuing to expand her breadth by pursuing a medical education.
