Great pant. Jogging, xc skiing and walking/hiking these pants fit well. I’m 6’4” 200lbs (my preferred Carhartt size is 34w36t for a relaxed fit or when wearing long underwear. I purchased the 36T version because I know ARC’TERYX tends to run more fitted and I’m happy with the size. Pockets are good for the purpose, (sometimes I feel the company lacks in this feature).

The perfect gamma pant

My favorite gamma pant to date. Elasticed waist and tapered leg to jogger hem- perfect for climbing with a harness and see footwork. The fit is not too slim or baggy. The availability for varying lengths means a better fit.

Once again I am satisfied with the pants I purchased. They fully meet my expectations, I recommend them. Of course, from my point of view, they could be a little longer because I am 196 cm tall, most of which is legs.

Nice pants go true to size

Purchased these pants and followed the recommendation of the reviews of purchasing a size smaller. The pants were way too small and tight. I would go true to your normal size on these. Overall the pants were really nicely constructed but I purchased the wrong size.

bad design/fit

Sizing runs a bit large on this so instead of a 34, I went with a 32. The inseam is good (I'm 6'). The main issue is that the drawstring is a complete failure and the elastic waist is much too loose. I'm not skinny either. The drawstring is difficult to deal with and is very short. The pants still seem to want to fall or lower in the back (plumber's crack). I'm sure Arc'teryx will respond and say that this is valuable feedback and will give it to their design team, but I have to say that this type of response doesn't help a customer at all. We're not here to test the clothing out for you. By the time it gets into the store, it should have hours/days of testing and not have flaws like this. If I would have known this was going to be such an issue, I would have returned them, but it's not something you immediately notice by just trying them on. Oh well, lesson learned.
