Super mid… layer.

Another swing and a miss… I understand the concept of this fleece honestly I do. But it feels cheap in comparison to other Arc’ pieces. Sizing runs very small, I bought this mainly for backpacking, but it’s heavy in comparison to the Delta (although cheaper) and the fit is Lycra tight. So many issues with Arc fit lately, delta is giant in a large this is like a medium (a small medium at that). Overall this piece works for what it is supposed to do but certainly doesn’t wow me like other pieces from Arc usually do.

Oversized Cuffs

I love the hoody and would have kept it but the cuffs are too big and they drop over my hands. The jacket was the same way. Why do cuffs no longer fit?

Fabric is very thin.

I have bought the same jacket several yeas ago and wanted a second jacket but was disappointed that the fabric was much thinner than the first jacket.

Peelt schnell ohne große Beanspruchung

Ich habe die Jacke im August 2023 gekauft und hatte sie in der Freizeit an nicht beim Klettern wo sue durch Gurt bsp. mehr beansprucht wird.
Im Bauchbereich peelt sich der Fleece deutlich.
Bin ich ansonsten nicht gewohnt von Arcteryx

Disappointed by Declining Quality and Rising Price

I've been a loyal fan of this item for years and make an annual purchase. However, this year, I noticed a noticeable decline in both the material quality and fit; the size is unusually larger than before. Additionally, the item now feels very uncomfortable due to the use of abrasive materials. One would expect that the high price would ensure top-notch quality, but it's disappointing to see this decline due to recycled materials deteriorating the quality while raising the price.

Heat hoody but fabric smells wierd

Love all my Arc stuff - I also have a kyanite AR and the tech wool hoody. This fits and looks good BUT it has a really wierd smell that just doesn’t wash out. Kinda plasticky - a bit damp maybe - not nice. None of my other Arcteryx (or other) clothes smell like this. Have washed it several times and always comes out still smelling eeurgh. Very strange.

My favourite fleece I've owned

Bought this jacket back in February 2023 for wearing on the airplane on an upcoming trip. It has since been with me almost everywhere and is one of my most worn pieces from Arc'teryx. The coziness of the soft fleece right next to my skin has kept me warm enough without overheating me on cool days year round either as a standalone hoodie or a midlayer under another jacket. Definitely considering purchasing another non-hoodie kyanite!
