Poor quality components

Unusable shorts.
Having purchased these shorts and as spring has come, just starting to attempt to wear them, I am highly disappointed. The popper is not fit for purpose and is as weak as a kitten. They don’t stay buttoned (popped) together. Not fit for use around the house let-alone outdoor activities. A rather expensive waste of money. I have contacted customer services as I am apparently ‘out of my return window’. This is a manufacturing issue with poor quality components so I do hope you sort this out in a timely fashion. I won’t be purchasing anything else until faith in the brand quality is improved.

Greats shorts with an awful design choice

These shorts are meant to be worn, To be used and to be washed. They fit great and have a small stretch. However, the right side pocket Is not stitched to the fabric and will come loose when washing the garment. They used iron-on hem tape for the pocket that will eventually come loose when washing.

These are super comfortable shorts, made of lightweight, stretchy and breathable fabric. Also comes with great pockets. They are perfect for hiking, running or any other activity around the mountain.
Design team: the button closure is terrible and it is very hard to keep it close. It just pops open any time the tissue stretches a little bit. Quite annoying!
Fix it and these shorts will be just perfect.

Bought these after liking the Gamma lightweight pants (2 pairs). Bought shorts from Arc’teryx size 28 and a pair from Valhalla Pure size 29, as they were out of a colour. One thing that is a problem is the snap, which is very weak, and comes undone easily. Actually this is the same problem with the pants. Hopefully they will find a replacement in the next production. The Arc’teryx bottoms fit me nicely and I like the colour choices. Keep up the good work.

These shorts are awesome. light, quick dry and flat pockets. If super light fabric is your primary goal these shorts really fit that bill. If you are ok with a very slightly heavier short check out the Gamma 9".

Je porte normalement du 34 de pentalon arcteryx, mais ce short est fait plus petit.
Je vais devoir retourner, j'ai commander du 36. Donc possiblement prévoir 1 grandeur plus grand.

Shape ruined in the wash

Disappointing that these don't hold their shape, similar to other reviews. Nice length and have potential to be nice shorts. Unfortunately after 1 wash the material on the front bunches up behind the pockets ruining the shape of the shorts.

Agreed. I bought one and the fabric bunched up after one wash. It seems tied to the elastic material that they used to secure the pocket lining. This material shrinks after a wash, causing the fabric to bunch up. My wife doubled down and bought me a second pair in a different color. The same thing happened. They are nice shorts otherwise. So I used a hair dryer to loosen the fabric binding material and tore and cut our the pocket lining. The bunching issue resolved, but now I am down two lower pockets. This is find with me...but dang...what a poor design.
