Short & baggy

Short and baggy, so not for solo usage. Thickness is nice. Reminds me of those old tracksuits pants, but these are shorter. I was looking for insulated winter pants, but these are some random short middle layer aladin baggies, so instant return.

Perfect winter casual pants

I bought this for casual wear in winter days. It's good without base layers down to -5C or so. The fit is perfect and I like the zipper pockets (which is why I returned the Proton pant last year).

Weird fit, good fabric, a bit of a miss.

Bizarre fit. Could never be used as a free ride pant. Would never fit over a boot but rather would be scrunched up above. Really more of a casual pant. I’m 5’9” and 140lbs. Ordered an XS and waist is perfect (30”) I actually had them tailored in the legs and now seem normal, but that’s more money on top of the high price. Great fabric and very comfortable . . . bring back the Proton pants! Those were the best casual pants you made last year and crazy comfy with a good fit.

Misleading color. Looks brown on website but ugly green in person. Awful fit. Fit like sweatpants and awkward length. Not baggy, slim, or tapered. Just totally misleading photos on site. Definitely warm, will add a star for that. Marketing team having a field day with this one.

Great fit, excellent features like zip pockets and cuff cinches. Very lightweight and breathable. I like these pants a lot but they fail in two major categories. While they do work well as a stand alone pant, they are not warm enough for the $300. I stepped outside in 29 degrees American and was very cold. I do not see these being warm enough to use them for freeride or warrant the high price. I own a pair of the axiom knickers from a few years ago and they are much warmer. The axiom also had a zip fly which brings me to the second failure, no zip fly. If these are to be worn under a shell pant/bib they need to have a zip fly. These would be a nice expensive mid layer pant for the casual skier who never goes out when temps dip below 20 and makes frequent visits to the lodge.
