Best hiking pants ever???

Just found these online after wearing the utility shorts for every adventure all summer for the last two years (hike, backpacking, kayaking, travel, etc) and am SO thrilled. The fit is great - I’m normally a size 6 (28” waist 38” hip give or take 1”) and have these and the shorts in a 6 and they fit perfect - the drawstring waist gives some adjustability. The roomy legs are such a nice change from slim hiking pants - and the big pockets are awesome for keeping gear, snacks, rocks my toddler collects. Despite being 5’6 I have short legs and often need a short inseam but went regular for these, and am happy I did - I think the short inseam would be too short! More colours please! 🙏

Great for Climbing

My favorite arc pants! I had been looking forever for a pair of climbing pants since they stopped making the konseal pant for women's. These are super comfy, flattering, durable and breathable. I love the pockets for when I'm hiking or camping. Normally I need a short inseam but since these have the draw cord at the ankle I dont have any issues. Highly recommend!

My favorite pant!

These pants are truly fantastic! They are my favorite style of gamma pants and are so flattering. The waist is super comfortable and the fabric is great at blocking wind but not making you feel overheated. The legs are loose and allow for great mobility! The fabric is also soft but tough making them great for multi day backpacking trips.
I really hope these reappear year after year and come in new colorways!

High rise looks silly on short people

You will not like these if you are a shorter person with a shorter rise. They are long in the rise (high waisted/high rise) and bunch up in a really unflattering way with extra material and gaping space at the crotch. I liked the style of the pant and the fabric and pocket placements, but until Arc'teryx starts making low-mid rise pants again I likely won't be buying. Just way too much extra material. I have mentioned this on all their current pants and have literally tried every single pair but they still keep making high rise on everything! I could roll these down at the waist by 2" to make them work but that looks ridiculous.

Love the petite fit

These are the best-fitting hiking pants I’ve found for a petite frame, the short inseam is perfect. The fit is perfectly relaxed: roomy enough for easy movement without feeling overly baggy. And as always, the Gamma fabric is reliable, breathable, and durable. A new favorite in my gear lineup.
