Stains extremely easy! Anything other than water will stain and washing may not get it clean even with the recommended product from Arc’teryx.

Too thin fabric !!!

Goretex, design & pink color made me buy it.
Tho’ I overlooked the thinness of it on cold weather even when wearing a thick clothing underneath.
It’s a chilling experience !
just bought it couple of weeks ago, unfortunately I can’t return it anymore :(

Our GORE‑TEX shells are designed to protect against rain and wind, but they are not insulated and aren’t intended to provide warmth on their own. For future reference, you may want to explore our insulated GORE‑TEX jackets, which combine the weather protection of a shell with built‑in insulation for added warmth. We do offer free returns within 30 days of purchase, as long as items are unworn with the tags attached, and our team would be happy to provide advice on layering systems or help you find the right piece for your needs. This jacket is bulletproof! It’s light and moves well but can withstand heavy rain and wind! Perfect layer! Size down if you want it to feel a little more streamline and won’t be layering bulky mid layers underneath.

The Beta coat is super nice! I'm 5'1" and it is about an inch below my knees. I do wish it was 2 inches longer though.
It's light, and has a good amount of pockets. I am about 114 pounds and the coat is the right amount of
oversized on me, I purchased a size Small. It will be great alone or with layers underneath. I wanted the long Liatris coat but the XXS was just way too big on me, I wish there was an XXXS in it.
Anyway the Beta coat is very nice and I can't wait to where it in the rain!

Minimal hood functionality

This Drop Hood doesn’t have the usual conches at the neck/front, which leaves it gaping at the sides in wind and doesn’t allow it to move with you when you move your head.
It does have the single toggle compression at the back that allows you to get the visor in the right place so you can see if looking straight ahead.
Other jackets with this same Drop Hood have more compression for good hood function. I am surprised that this beta coat does not.

You're absolutely right, some of our Drop Hood designs feature more adjustment points than others, and not all of our products include multiple hood cinches. In this case, the single rear toggle was chosen to maintain a clean silhouette and reduce bulk, while still allowing for basic visor positioning. That said, we understand how important full hood articulation can be in windy or dynamic conditions, and your insights help us evaluate where performance trade-offs may impact real-world use. We’ll be sure to share this with our product team.

Lovely coat.

Use this for walking in and around the Lake District. I love the longer length, keeps the top of my legs really dry. Fits well, feel dry at the end of a wet walk. Very pleased with my coat

Great for travel!

Perfect addition to my travel wardrobe. Went to the store seeking another jacket and they recommended this one. Tried on for fit, sized up, ordered online and voila—great fit, good, picture ready color. Love it!
