Extremely comfortable

Extremely comfortable, really like the Rho range. Warm, light & perfect for every everyday use and lasts. Have most of the range now so I can choose perfect combination depending on weather / temperature / activity.

Not breathable

As the description says, it is for a low output movement. For me who sweats easily, it is not a good base layer. It is not well breathable, holds my body temperature well that causes me to sweat even more. After a short while during a hike, I can smell myself. Not a good experience. I only wear it when slow jogging.

A terrible re-design and big step backwards.

The old versions pre 2022 were so, so, so much better.
Please, bring back the long and slim/svelte fit, drop hem and short collar. This new fit takes away everything that was good about the Rho synthetic base layer tops and throws it out of the window. The boxy shape, straight hem, ugly cuff and floppy collar offers no improvement, nothing of value and is a huge step backwards.
The originals worked seamlessly as a base layer, or as a standalone top for cool days. They offered good back coverage when bending over, which also made them great for cold climbing under a harness. The current fit bunches up and flaps about when used with a backpack or harness, it doesn't layer well and rides up easily. The pocket placement is nice and modernises the design, but the zip is also an awful alternative.
Arc'teryx, you had it right with the Rho LTW, Rho LT and Eon SLW series. Nothing really needed changing. Please pay attention to this.

Well designed, with a couple flaws

I wanted to love this, I really did. Fabric feels excellent, fit is flattering, zip neck is the right length - however, there are two main issues with the shirt.
1) There is excessive pilling from a modest amount of wear. I think I had the Phase AR base layer before this and that lasted much longer without any pilling.
2) I realize synthetics hold on to smell more, but this shirt seems like it did a particularly poor job.
In hindsight, I probably should have bought the rho hybrid with strategic wool panels as this would have taken care of the smell issue.

fantastic material, super soft and warm enough. Your normal Arc size will not fit next to skin like some are looking for so consider sizing down if that is what yiu are looking for. I like wearing these like regular tops as well so i love the fit. One issue for me was a body length - it was way too long and would stick under the vest. Overlall great product, Kyanite type softness.
