My favorite hoody. Super soft and just a very nice cut and fit. I have a stack of hoodies but this one is always my go-to! I have the purple color and totally love it.

Fühlt sich wie Plastiktüte an

Eigentlich bin ich riesiger Fan von Arc‘teryx. Ich habe eine Jacke schon seit fast 10 Jahren und die ist immer noch top. Aber der Emblem Fleece Hoody ist enttäuschend. Ich weiß nicht was man mit dem Material gemacht hat aber trotz des hohen Baumwollanteils fühlt es sich an als würde man eine Plastiktüte anziehen. Man fängt sofort zu schwitzen an, das ist echt richtig unangenehm. Ich habe andere Hoodys mit mehr synthetischen Materialien, die sich bei weitem nicht so anfühlen. Das ist echt sehr schade (vor allem bei dem Preis). Ich trage den Hoody echt nicht gern…

Softness at the expense of durability

What I don't understand is why Arc chose to use a fabric as soft as this. For me, it doesn't make any sense. The inside of the fabric is lined with fleece, so the comfort is maintained regardless of the softness of the outside fabric. Therefore, I wish that they rather went with a fabric that is tougher on the outside, instead of using a super soft material at the expense of durability.
I've had mine for three months, worn occasionally under no demanding circumstances (office, leisure...), and I'm observing it has already started to pill. Even my slightly older Covert Cardigan is holding up better than this! At this price point, it is really disappointing.
Fit is great. Medium fits me comfortably without any excess.
I hope that the next iteration addresses the durability issue.

Hoody of all Hoodies.

Great Hoody. Love the color. Hood has a lining in it that could be a 1st cousin of silk. Whole thing is super soft. Fit is nice. Lots of compliments on the color thus far. Lost count at 90.

Solid, big hood, made well, will it hold up?

This is a good make my Arc’teryx. I’m 6’ 185 and a large was perfect. Fits not tight but also not loose. Good color choices too. It’s my first Arc’teryx pull over hoodie and it’s warm enough for a spring chill in Alaska or an underneath layer in winter. Or even with a vest on top. Good fit, good product. I don’t dry any of my Arc’teryx gear so I will see after a few months of washing in performance wash (bought from Arc’teryx) and following their instructions if it’ll hold up. Otherwise great product

White spots after two washes

Received this as a gift for Christmas, after 2 washes material started to fade and white spots appeared in random areas. Reached out to customer service and was asked to wash again to try to get spots out. Disappointed with the quality.

Fits great, but you can’t dry it or it’ll shrink like half a size. I’m still growing and it fit me great but now it fits a bit small.
