The Best

This is my favorite piece of clothing. Full stop. Especially love the pullover version. It is THE ideal base layer for three seasons of high mountain adventures. The Diem fabric is amazing to wear for high output sun protection - feels almost as breezy and cool as not wearing anything. Arc’teryx please bring this back for men and women in high albedo color!!

Fiber pilling within 1 month.

Started to pilling within one month and before 1st wash. The product description is pretty accurate about it being airy and light and stretch. Just not durable.

Solid sun protection

Bought this in green one month ago. I also use an older pullover too. These hold up well with proper care and do the trick. Need this zip up in black asap!

Great but not durable

Amazing summer jacket for sun protection in hot weather. Fabric is super light and breathable. Recommend sizing down 1 size. I normally wear small but the xs fit me perfectly. But after almost 1 month of wear, fabric has started pilling. Also, the white color gets dirty real quick. I wish they would make other light colors like a gray that could hide the dirt better. The dark colors just don’t work as a sun jacket. Otherwise an amazing jacket.

Exzremely comfy

I was looking for something long sleeved and potentially with hood for times when i feel roasted enough by the sun. I found a very comfy piece. Not as necessary as a good rain jacket, but really a pleasure to wear. Like most Arcteryx gear size is plenty. I got an XXL as i wanted it oversized a bit and i am 105Kg at 1.8 with a broad chest. XL would suffice for me as most other Arcteryx gear. For me, Arc makes the best fitting stuff “in the world”!

Odd cut

The material is great. It is so light and comfortable on the skin. Unfortunately, the cut is strange. Much too wide and the sleeves too short. This is a great pity.

Made from Diem™ – a 100% recycled polyester made with wicking fibres – it stretches for freedom, allows cooling airflow, and feels great. The low-profile hood protects the head and fits under a helmet. It’s patterned for freedom of movement and has a streamlined fit that allows it to be worn as the base of a layering system.
